Mr. Third Coast Leather 2018
Requirements and Expectations of :
Requirements:
• Identify as a gay or bisexual male
• Be a resident of a Gulf Coast state or territory (contact us if uncertain if your residence qualifies)
• Compete in his own leather or agree to purchase his own leather by IML 2019
Expectations:
• To promote the Mr. Third Coast Leather contest nationally (and internationally)
• To promote G.L.U.E. Weekend nationally (and internationally)
• It is STRONGLY encouraged for the winner to compete in International Mr. Leather in 2019. If not
possible, the winner must contact the Misfits to discuss prior to any public announcement. The winner
then must make a minimum of five (5) public appearances as Mr. Third Coast Leather at gay male
fetish events in the Gulf Coast states andterritories during his title year
• To attend and assist in the following year’s Mr. Third Coast Leather contest
• To maintain good standing in the community through presenting himself with integrity
• To NOT create or promote a competing contest/weekend event
• To NOT compete in any other “Title Holder “contest that is part of the IML circuit until after your
• title year
• To refrain from publishing or broadcasting any professional pornography during your title year
Scoring:
Contestants will be scored on how well they represent themselves in their application and on stage.
They will be judged with regard to stage presence, personality, embodiment of leather lifestyle, and
physique.
Contest Categories:
• Interview (Saturday morning)
• Bar wear (Saturday night)
• Leather image and Speech (Saturday night)
• Leather jock and Q&A from judges (Saturday night)
Judging:
Contestants will be judged on the aforementioned categories by a panel of five judges. Points awarded
by the judges will be added together for each contestant and the contestant with the cumulative
highest number of points will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, the lowest category scores

Disclaimer and Release of Liability:
In consideration of this contest entry to the owners (Misfits Houston) of the contest (Mr. Third Coast
Leather), I waive and release its owners and producers from any and all demands, actions, and claims of
injury or damage to my person, property, reputation, cost, expense, attorney’s fees, or penalties that may
arise either now or in the future in connection with my appearance in the Mr. Third Coast Leather
contest. I hereby grant permission to use my stage/scene name in connection with any publicity related
to the Mr. Third Coast Leather contest.
The Mr. Third Coast Leather travel fund is for travel purposes only and available only by refund requests
upon providing proof of expenses.
By my signature below, I hereby state that I have read and understand the above disclaimer.
I certify that:
• All of the information that I have supplied on this application is true and correct;

• I meet all of the qualifications specified in the attached contest requirements statement;
• I agree to endeavor to meet all of the expectations of the contest in the attached
expectations statement should I win;

I, the undersigned, hereby grant the owners (Misfits Houston) of Mr. Third Coast Leather
the exclusive rights and permission to own, print, reprint, or broadcast any and all photos
taken of me and my likeness during this contest, or regional or international contest
associated with my participation in this contest. This may include any rehearsal,
photographic modeling sessions, receptions, or any other related events. These shall
remain the property of the Mr. Third Coast Leather contest with my implied permission for
use for any purpose whatsoever in any media or context. All promotion pictures taken
during one’s title year belong to the owners (Misfits Houston) of the contest.
I agree, if asked to do so, to participate in a photo modeling session arranged by the
owners (Misfits Houston) of said contest (Mr. Third Coast Leather). ( Cont’d on next page)Photos may be used exclusively in advertisements or promotion of the contest. I further understand that I will not be compensated for these photos. I understand that nudity is not required, but is optional, I hereby release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless the owners (Misfits Houston) of Mr. Third Coast Leather or its agents from liability or claim arising from the publication, distribution, broadcast, or use of any images of me or my likeness in publication, distribution, or broadcast. I certify that I am 21 years of age or older, and that I have read and understand this release form in its entirety before signing it. Furthermore, I have attached a photocopy of my current driver’s license or passport which will be used for identification purposes only and will not be published.
