Rogers in Sheboygan overview Year after year, mental health and substance use challenges rank first and second in community assessments of health issues facing residents of Sheboygan and its surrounding counties. These same assessmentsi also point to a major gap in access to specialized services to address these needs. Rogers Behavioral Health is on the verge of reducing this disparity. Based in Wisconsin since 1907, Rogers is a private, not-for-profit provider of behavioral health programs and is nationally recognized for its specialized psychiatry and addiction services. Rogers has three inpatient hospitals and 20 outpatient clinics across the country. We treat 1,500 patients a day; 91% are improved at the time of discharge. Rogers services will soon be available for the greater Sheboygan community. Rogers in Sheboygan Set to open in 2021, Rogers in Sheboygan will include a clinic for day treatment programming as well as the Center for Living—the area’s first structured housing facility accommodating patients in treatment for a range of mental health and addiction issues. Within the clinic, adults will find help and hope with specialized programs for OCD, anxiety, depression, other mood disorders, and co-occurring substance use. The clinic will also include a mental health recovery program for adolescents ages 12-17. Mental Health Support Services Having a good support system and engaging with experts are key elements to successfully talking about mental health and overcoming the challenges associated with mental illness. The more we know, and the more we engage with others, the better we can provide helpful support to each other.
