1. Opening of the sitting
The sitting opened at 9.00.

2. Negotiations ahead of Parliament's first reading (Rule 69c) (follow-up)
The President announced that no request had been received on behalf of a number of Members or a
political group or groups reaching at least the medium threshold concerning the decision to enter
into interinstitutional negotiations as announced in the minutes of Tuesday 12 February 2019
(minutes of 12.2.2019, item 2).
The LIBE Committee had therefore been able to start the negotiations on expiry of the deadline set
in Rule 69(c)(2).
