Message
A lot has changed at Aakash during the transition from a humble coaching institute

NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test)
From 2019 onwards the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test has been conducted by the National Testing Agency
(NTA). NEET (UG) is applicable for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with
the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family
Welfare, Government of India.
The responsibility of the NTA is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and
providing All India Rank to the Directorate General Health Services (DGHS), New Delhi, Government of India for the
conduct of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state/other Counselling
Authorities.
Candidates seeking admission in AFMC for MBBS Course will register online through NEET and they will also have
to register at www.afmc.nic.in. The candidates who want to get admission in AFMC MBBS course will have to
necessarily appear in NEET 2020 entrance examination. After qualifying NEET 2020 exam, candidates will have to
appear for ToELR computer-based test (CBT) conducted by AFMC authority
As per the NMC Act, 2019, AIIMS and JIPMER have now be replaced by NEET. Now the candidates need to apply
only for NEET 2020 to get admission to MBBS courses in AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER and all AIIMS like Institutions.
NEET UG 2020 Schedule
The detailed schedule for NEET UG 2020 has been released by National Testing Agency (NTA). The agency will be
conducting NEET 2020 only once and the mode for NEET UG exam will remain offline.
Following is the final schedule of the exam to be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA):

JEE (Joint Entrance Examination)
National Testing agency has been entrusted the responsibility of conducting Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) from 2019
onwards. NTA will conduct JEE (Main) 2020 examination in two phases for admission to engineering programmes
at NITs, IITs, IIITs and CFTIs. The first phase of JEE (Main) 2020 will be conducted from 6th January 2020 to 11th
January 2020 and the second phase of JEE(Main) 2020 will be conducted from 3rd April 2020 to 9th April 2020.
However, it is not compulsory for the candidates to appear for both the phases but in case a candidate appears for
both the phases, the best of the two scores is used for eligibity for JEE(Advanced) 2020
Eligibility for admission to NITs,IITs and CFTIs participating through Central Seat Allocation Board
Admission to B. E / B.Tech /B.Arch /B.Planning courses will be based on All India Rank subject to the condition
that the candidate should have secured at least 75% marks in the 12th Class. For SC/ST candidates the
qualifying marks should be 65% in 12th Class / qualifying examination conducted by the respective Boards.
The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Arch course other than NITs, IITs and CFTIs as decided by Council of
Architecture for admission to B.Arch is 50% marks in Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks
in aggregate of the qualifying examination.
The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Planning is that the candidates should have passed the qualifying
examination with 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate of Class 12th examination

NTSE (National Talent Search Examination)
The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level scholarship program in India started in the year
1963. The purpose of the scheme was to identify talented students and nurture their talents. ‘Talent’ refers to the
potentiality that manifests itself at a high level of performance in one or more specialized areas. Therefore, it covers
areas like science, social science, engineering, medicine, management and law. It is organized by – National Council of
Educational Research and Training (NCERT) and it honors and helps talented students by providing financial
assistance in the form of a monthly scholarship. For the courses in basic sciences, social sciences and commerce, this
assistance is provided up to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) level whereas for professional courses like engineering,
