Eligibility rules SSHRC / NSERC 1. Be registered in a research master program (thesis stream) or intend to do it 2. Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident on the closing date (December 1st) 3. Be enrolled in your MSc program for a maximum of 12 months as of December 31, 2020 4. Never have been a holder of a CGS M 5. Have a first class average (3,7/4,3) for each of the last two years of study (full-time or equivalent) 17
Eligibility rules FRQSC / FRQNT 1. Be registered in a research master program (thesis stream) or intend to do it 2. Have obtained a minimum grade point average of 3.55 for the FRQNT or 3.7 for the FRQSC in their undergraduate studies 3. Have been enrolled at a Québec university on a full-time basis (or equivalent) for at least 2 of the 3 terms prior to the competition deadline (F19, W20 or S20) OR have a valid RAMQ card or proof of eligibility for RAMQ 4. Have been enrolled in the master's program for which they are applying for the scholarship for no more than 3 full-time terms (1 year), as of May 1, 2021. 5. No funding can be granted after the sixth term 18 of study at the master's level.

Application submission The project… The project you are presenting does not need to be the project you will actually achieve. The goal is to demonstrate your potential in search, that's all! • Your teachers should help you (or the specialization academic advisors) • Examples of research projects available on the schorlarships’ web page, tools for applications section • Attend the scholarship preparation workshop (September 9 and 10, 2020)
