Saturday, June 5, 2021 | James E. Ward Agriculture Center | Lebanon, Tennessee
Travel, lodging or meals may not be included in all vacations, please see the specifics of each item for details. Items will not be released until payment is received by LMA. This auction is held to benefit the Livestock Marketing Association’s Political Action Committee (PAC). The PAC allows Livestock Marketing Association to give financial assistance to legislators and candidates who are supportive of the best interest of LMA members and the livestock industry. According to the Federal PAC Regulations, only personal checks from U.S. citizens may be accepted as payment for these items. Your PAC contribution is not tax deductible. Federal PAC regulations limit donations to $5,000 per individual. Items selling above this amount may be split between multiple individuals. For example an individual could donate $5,000 and another individual (spouse, business partner, friend, etc.) another $5,000 for a $10,000 item. WHY SUPPORT LMA PAC? LMA’s PAC is a major tool of LMA’s government affairs efforts. The PAC supports agriculture- minded candidates to get them elected to congress and re-elected. Having a PAC also increases the profile and influence of LMA and livestock marketing issues. Members of Congress who have been supported by the LMA PAC see LMA as a partner with which they work together to address livestock industry issues. 2019-2020 ELECTION CYCLE ACTIVITY In the 2019 -2020 election cycle, the LMA PAC spent $112,000 supporting 52 different candidates from 25 states. Recipients of LMA PAC dollars had an impressive 88% success rate in winning or retaining their seat in Congress. The LMA PAC focuses primarily on members of the House and Senate Agriculture and Agriculture Appropriations committees, with members of these committees receiving more than 80% of LMA PAC support.
1. Bobby Smith Memorial NFR Package
Package includes prime tickets for two people for either the Tuesday,
December 7th and Wednesday, December 8th performances or the
Wednesday, December 8th and Thursday, December 9th performances
of the 2021 NFR. Donated by Sharie Smith and Carri Pike of Fairview,
Oklahoma in memory of Bobby Smith. Package also includes three nights
hotel accommodations at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas sponsored by
Oklahoma Livestock Marketing Association. To top off this package a
$500 Caesar’s Rewards gift card can be used to purchase playing credit,
meals, or souvenirs!

2. Memphis BBQ
Fire up your grills! This package includes two $150 gift cards, one to
Memphis Original Charlie Vergos Rendezvous and one to Corky’s Ribs
and BBQ. To kick start your grilling season, a selection of barbecue
sauces and rubs from Rendezvous and Corkey’s are featured. The basket
also includes all the grill tools you’ll need: a set of tongs, burger flipper,
basting mop, grill thermometer, and a grill spice rack!
3. Two Spectator Seats for WLAC
Want to be on top of the action? Due to limited seating in the auction
arena, this is your chance to guarantee a spot to see the World Livestock
Auctioneer Championship from inside the sale arena. We have two
seats reserved for our PAC VIPs. Package includes two reserved seats
at Dickson Regional Livestock Center for the entire contest day, two
souvenir hats, two t-shirts, and concierge food and beverage service by
your LMA staff on sale day.
4. KC Golf & BBQ Weekend
Enjoy a weekend getaway to Kansas City! Package includes golf for up
to four at the Nicklaus Golf Club at Lionsgate, which played host to the
professional Digital Ally open tournament for many years. In addition to
a round of golf you will also receive a two-night hotel stay for two rooms
in the Kansas City entertainment district of choice and a $250 gift card to
the steakhouse or high-end barbecue restaurant of choice. To top off this
package, you will receive two LMA branded polos and two tubes of LMA
branded golf balls.

5. Custom Framed Hereford Steers in KC Stockyards Print
Let this custom-framed print take you back to the days of the terminal
stockyards. Featuring Hereford steers to be marketed and a group of
gentlemen looking on, this artwork is a great fit for office or home.
6. LMA Items Basket You’ll be riding for the brand with this basket of LMA branded items. Custom-made for this year’s PAC auction, the basket contains two LMA wild rags and a navy LMA tie. These specialty items are only offered for PAC supporters. Package also contains a black men’s vest (size large), a grey men’s jacket (size large), a black women’s vest (size small), a grey women’s pullover (size medium), two pairs of cotton LMA gloves, two pairs of leather LMA gloves, a tan LMA hat, a grey LMA hat, and a set of four mimosa glasses. 7. Night Out on Nashville Package Pull up your dancing boots! This package includes a two-night stay at the Sheraton Music City Hotel (host hotel for the 2021 LMA Convention), a $150 gift card to Southern Steak and Oyster, a $50 gift card to Merchants restaurant, a metal 18-inch Music City sign with the Nashville skyline cutout, a Johnny Cash Hatch Show poster, a “What Would Dolly Do?” tote, and a “What Would Dolly Do?” campfire mug. Also included are 2 vintage cowboy boot “tip jars” filled with $1 and $5 bills for your tipping needs during the trip. You’ll also be dressed ready to hit Broadway street with a t-shirt (men’s large) and a tank top (women’s medium) from Robert’s Western World. To top it off, infamous Goo Goo’s and Moonpies are included to leave you with the taste of Tennessee! 8. Country Baking Basket For the baker in your family! This basket includes a 9 x 13 stainless steel baking dish and lid embossed with an Angus calf and Pioneer Woman baking accessories. Pioneer Woman items include stainless steel crank sifter with Acacia handle; a 3-piece kitchen tool set; kitchen towel; oven mitt; potholder; an 8-piece measuring spoon and scoop set (includes standard teaspoon/tablespoon set and measuring scoops); and a 10-piece mixing bowl set. 9. Happy Toy Maker Cattle Hauler Set Do you have a little one you love that needs a big rig? This custom, hand- made day cab semi and cattle hauler can be hauled all over the house, yard, barn, and wherever travels may take the kids in your life. The metal semi and trailer are built to withstand some serious miles and still be handed down through the generations. They are handcrafted by Jerry and Patricia Sims, the Happy Toymakers in Happy, Texas! 10. Custom BA Silver Knife & More A custom knife is the best accessory a guy can have. This set includes a voucher for $250 towards a custom-made knife by Bailey Langvardt of BA Silver, as well as a reservation in June for the custom knife you design to be created. To accompany the voucher, Bailey has also donated a hat and $75 toward a piece of custom jewelry.
11. South Dakota Pheasant Hunting Trip
Don’t miss this opportunity to experience legendary South Dakota
pheasant hunting! This three-night, two-day hunt takes place at Flyin J
Outfitters in Orient, South Dakota. A family-owned hunting guide service,
Flyin J offers hunters a fantastic opportunity to experience upland hunting
at its best on their privately owned and managed hunting ground. In
addition to the great hunting experience, Flyin J also provides a premiere
lodging experience along with activities like skeet shooting. This trip
includes lodging, three meals a day, a professional guide with dogs
(guests are welcome to bring their own hunting dogs) and a three birds
per day limit. The package covers six hunters, and buyers are welcome to
add more hunters at their own expense. Dates for the hunt are Oct. 20-22.
12. C.J. Brown Cattle Print
This stunning framed print depicts black Angus cattle loafing in the
pasture next to a hay meadow. The 24” x 45” print is custom framed and
is an essential decoration for any farm or ranch house. Donated by 2017
World Livestock Auctioneer Champion Brian Curless.

13. Children’s Ag Books
Unleash the imagination of the little cowpoke in your life. This set features
the first four books of the original Hank the Cowdog series, the first book
of the Hank the Cowdog Ranch Life learning series, a Hank the Cowdog
stuffed animal, Hank the Cowdog card game, and Hank the Cowdog
drawstring bag. In addition to the Hank the Cowdog items, this basket
includes Kindergarten Rancher by Rachel Gabel, Can-Do Cowkids by
Amanda Radke, and My Mommy and Daddy are Ranchers by Wrenn
Pacheco. Rachel, Amanda, and Wrenn are all involved on their family’s
ranching operations in Colorado, South Dakota, and Kansas. The
children’s stories are inspired by their day-to-day lives.

an all-inclusive three-night/two-day fly-fishing trip on the Bighorn River.
The Bighorn Angler has been offering high-quality, fly-fishing experience
on the Bighorn River for over 30 years. Package includes one guide boat,
lodging, and all meals for two people. Gift Certificate must be used in

Hills and owned by former LMA staff member, Sam Capoun! Package

and Weathered Leather scents) and two “Cow Buddy” clips. Filled
with scented beads, these super-cute, on-the-go clips are perfect for
decorating backpacks and more! Scentsy products donated by LMA staff
member, Jennifer Scott. Package also includes a $150 visa gift card.
20. California Wine Package
Need to unwind? Uncorking can certainly help! Enjoy an assortment of fine
wines donated by the California Livestock Auction Markets Association.
Also included are four special wine glasses bearing the LMA logo.
21. Blueprint of KC Stockyards
This framed blueprint shows the sprawling layout of the historic Kansas
City Stockyards, as well as the pens dedicated to each of the livestock
commission men, steer trader, cow trader, bull trader and calf trader. This
blueprint is dated 1917, the same year a fire scorched the stockyards
in Kansas City’s West Bottoms district, which led to improvements and
updates to the facilities, which covered more than 200 acres.

23. NFR Package
The National Finals Rodeo is the premiere event for the best of the best of
the rodeo world. This is your chance to get in on the rodeo action and a
concert as well! Package includes 2 Plaza-level tickets to the 2021 NFR,
2 seats to a Las Vegas concert, VIP Seating for the NFR Viewing Party at
Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, a 2 Night Stay at the Golden Nugget Hotel
& Casino. Also included is a NFR poster signed by 2020 participants.

26. Custom LMA Corn Hole Set

we will be holding the inaugural LMA PAC corn hole competition. You
will want to purchase this set of boards to start practicing immediately!
This set of custom LMA cornhole boards were handcrafted in Kansas by
Skylar Suther.
