A prayer for Ukraine
Loving God,
We pray for the people of Ukraine,
for all those suffering or afraid,
that you will be close to them and protect them.

We pray for world leaders,
for compassion, strength and wisdom to guide their
choices.

We pray for the world
that in this moment of crisis,
we may reach out in solidarity
to our brothers and sisters in need.

May we walk in your ways
so that peace and justice
become a reality for the people of Ukraine
and for all the world. Amen.

How can schools get involved?
Display your Blessed San Damiano Cross
please contact the email address below if you don’t have one.
Launch Hope in the Future to pupils and staff
using the video and prayer resources available on the link below.
Nominate an adult Hope in the Future School Representative
to help promote the programme in the school community and to be a link between the school and associated
parish(es). You may also like to nominate a young person to assist with this. A form will be sent out to schools to
collect this information.
Develop strong links between Home, School, and Parish
to build up the parish community and foster the Domestic Church.
Encourage pupils and staff to see themselves as Missionary Disciples
sharing our Faith in word and action.

Survey will be sent out to schools this half term to ask what help is required to develop Hope in the Future in
our schools.
