What person living in the modern world has not had this happen? A virus hits your computer. If you have not prepared for this virus with an anti-virus program (a computer “vaccine”?) then you may have to reboot and/ or rebuild your operating system. Our choral program is much like a computer that’s been hit by a virus. re·boot / rē-ˈbüt (verb) to start (something) anew : to refresh (something) by making a new start. This past April we rebooted the program and ran it as best we could with its damaged operating system. But it wasn’t as fast or as strong as it was before the virus infection, so now it is time to rebuild. re·build /rēˈbild/ (verb) to build (something) again after it has been damaged or destroyed. In order to rebuild, we need new hardware. Hardware = people. So if you are interested in singing and feel called to partake in a group that serves God through worship, contact me (jacksonhearn@goodshepherdkingwood.org) Then we can continue to rejoice in the Lord always! re·joice /rəˈjois/ (verb) to feel or show great joy or delight. 12
