                 JOB REF: 20/2022 - PERMANENT PART TIME SUPPORT WORKER
                                     (Care Assistant I.D Grade)
                         (22 Hours per week based on a 7 days duty roster)
       A relevant FETAC/QQI Level 5 or equivalent qualification appropriate to the field of
      intellectual disability desirable. Candidates must have at least 1 years' experience of
   working with people with an intellectual disability and/or people on the autism spectrum.
    A full clean Irish Driving Licence and fluency in verbal and written English is an essential
                                      requirement of the post.
  A panel may be formed as a result of this process from which subsequent Support Worker
  Appointments within the North Roscommon Services will be made over the next 6 months.

 Based in Sligo since 1982 G. Bruss GMBH Sligo is part of a multi-national company and is a
 leading manufacturer of sealing systems for the automotive industry. We currently have
 vacancies in our Production Department.
                                            Main Duties
 Reporting directly to the production supervisor, this position requires highly motivated
 individuals to work in our production department. Typically, this will involve the operation of
 semi-automated injection moulding machines, inspection machines and other processes.
                                        Ideal requirements:
     Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
     Have knowledge in the operation of moulding or other types of machinery.
     Demonstrate a high attention to detail which will aid in fault finding and identification.
     Have a basic computer skills.
     Have an ability to work to deadlines and achieve targets.
     Be flexible and willing to multitask.
     Preferably have work experience within the automotive and/or rubber industries.
     A good knowledge of English both spoken and written with the ability to accurately
     document work performed.

                                 Housing Officer (Part Time)
Reporting to the Board, the Housing Officer is responsible for the day-to-day management of
the association. In addition, she/he will ensure adherence to the governance policies;
 contribute to the future strategy and development of the housing association; and oversee
effective control and supervision of operational matters.

Key responsibilities include:
Property Lettings/Allocations; Rent Management; Project Management; Repair; Project
Development; Tenant Participation and Governance.
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of illustrating the following criteria:

Education/Qualifications:
   A Professional qualification relevant to the post, a driving licence and use of a car.

Candidates will have skills/knowledge of:
   The social housing sector

   Knowledge of the Charities Regulator
   and the Voluntary Regulation Code for approved Housing Bodies

Candidates will have experience of:

                                                    Part - Time
                                            Based in St Hilda's Athlone

Overall Purpose of the post:
Provide a psychology service to meet the identified and emerging needs of service users who are supported by
Hilda's Services. The focus of this position is behaviour support.

St Hilda's Services is seeking to appoint a Psychologist who will be responsible for the following:

   Provision of psychological assessment, intervention to service users as appropriate. This includes supports to
   our service users with intellectual disabilities presenting with a diversity of needs including Autism, mental
   health difficulties, behaviours that are described as challenging, personal and family relationships issues,
   dementia and problems associated with aging, issues in relation to the development of individualised service
   arrangements.
   Engage in functional assessment of behaviour and collaborate in the development of behaviour management
   plans.
   Management of the behaviour support service, including day-to-day management of the staff team together
   with provision of professional and clinical supervision.
   Develop and implement training initiatives for parents/staff in response to identified need.
   Provide assessment relating to the adaptive functioning, intellectual functioning and emotional wellbeing of service users.
   Develop therapeutic interventions drawing upon concepts and techniques within various therapeutic
   frameworks.
   Work with our service users and their family to implement the therapeutic interventions.
   Manage confidential data and client information.
   Attend and participate in regular team and other meetings.
   Engage effectively with outside agencies and advocate for the service users attending the service.

The ideal candidate will:

   Have a University degree or Diploma (QQI Level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st and 2nd class honours in which
   Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject.
   And have an Irish post graduate professional psychology or an equivalent qualification in Educational or
   Psychology or equivalent from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health.
   Demonstrate competence in working with adults with intellectual disabilities - either at least 60 days or
   equivalent post qualification supervised worked experience as a psychologist.
   Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
   Excellent communication skills - oral and written.
   Full Clean Licence - access to own vehicle.
