he Lake welcomes multi-platinum selling and Grammy award-winning singer/
songwriter LEANN RIMES to its stage. At 13, LeAnn had her first hit with “Blue”
in 1996, which landed her a Best New Artist award, making her the youngest
recipient ever of a Grammy. Additionally, she has received 14 Billboard Music Awards,
two World Music Awards, and three Academy of Country Music Awards.
Of her 42 charting singles, LeAnn’s song “How Do I Live” still ranks #4 of Billboard’s
“Greatest Love Songs of All Time,” and holds the record for being the second longest
charting song ever on Billboard’s “Hot 100 Songs.” LeAnn Rimes continues to evolve
musically. Her most recent album, Remnants, has been a hit worldwide and singles
like “Long Live Love” and “LovE is LovE is LovE,” are topping the dance charts.
LeAnn has also long-supported a variety of
charity organizations, including the National
Psoriasis Foundation, DAV (Disabled
American Veterans), Stand Up For Kids,

he great ones endure, and GLADYS KNIGHT has long been one of
the greatest. Very few singers over the last 50 years have matched her
unassailable artistry. This seven-time Grammy winner has enjoyed #1
hits in pop, gospel, R&B, and adult contemporary, and has triumphed in film,
television, and live performance.
Georgia-born, Knight began performing gospel music at age four in the
Mount Mariah Baptist Church and sang as a guest soloist with the Morris
Brown College Choir. Three years later, she won the grand prize on
television’s “Ted Mack’s Amateur Hour,” and by the next year her mother
created the group that would be known as Gladys Knight and the Pips. The
iconic group went on to produce hits such as “Every Beat of my Heart,” “If
I Were Your Woman,” “Best Thing to Ever Happen to Me,” and of course,
“Midnight Train to Georgia.”
The Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall of famer is also a humanitarian. Gladys is the
national spokesperson for the American Diabetes Association, and works
with many organizations including the Minority AIDS Project and the

Born in London, LUCY WOODWARD spent her childhood in New
York and Holland. Fresh out of school, Lucy sang jazz in
NYC’s West Village for tips, sang in cover bands, and wrote
songs before signing with Atlantic Records in 2003. She
wrote Top-40 hits that earned her two BMI awards, and even
appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, but she had no
desire to be a pop starlet.
Her second album brought her back to her jazzier, blues roots.
Billboard described how “Lucy’s a ball; equally appreciable for
fans of melodic sing-song baubles and highbrow aficionados of
finely honed musical composition.”
