WELCOME TO La Palma Discover one of the lesser known Canary Islands, La Palma. The island sits northwest of Tenerife, north of smaller El Hierro, and is geologically similar to both. These three western islands, plus La Gomera, are relatively young compared to the eastern islands, and were the product of volcanic eruptions from the ocean floor 3 to 4 million years ago.
