1 June 2021 A Word from Sally Hello Everyone, Happy half way mark 2021 everyone! We are now going into winter and I hope you are all keeping warm. We recently celebrated the Biggest Morning Tea. Everyone had a great time, and there were some wonderful prizes in our mini cent sale. Pictured below is some of our participants enjoying a game of “Throw the coin in the teapot”. Thanks to everyone that attended, we had a fun day and raised some money for cancer research. Our walking group every Tuesday morning is going strong. We have had lots of lovely walks around the district, and everyone has enjoyed the outings. For something different we will be heading off to the Drayton Cemetery on Tuesday the 15th of June for a tombstone tour. This is one of the many walks that are available in Toowoomba Regional Council area. If you would like to join us please contact the centre, you can either meet at the cemetery or catch the bus from the centre. Bookings are needed, but everyone is welcome to come along. For more information on the walk go to this link https://www.tr.qld.gov.au/our-region/history/historic-locations/112-historic- walks#TombstoneTrails
