We hand-pick our Host Families, visiting their OUR homes and ensuring that they have up-to-date police checks. We try and make the best possible HOST FAMILIES matches between students and families to ensure that they all have a great summer experience. Many of our Host Families have children of their own whilst others have grown-up children who live away from home. Either way the Host Parents are welcoming and children staying with them are made to feel welcome and comfortable. During the week students have breakfast with the Host Family before they leave for school. Some Host Families drive the children to The Lady Elizabeth School and others use the bus service. Families provide the students with a snack and a drink for break time and lunch is provided by the school. The evening meal is had with the Host Family and on many occasions Host Families get together with other families to have BBQs or social gatherings where students can see their friends from school. We offer 24-hour assistance and pastoral care for our families and the students staying with them. We know and trust our families and the best testimonials that we have are that students want to repeat with the same family year after year.
A fabulous addition to Summer School 2020 is our wonderful Boarding House Facility which is situated within 30 minutes of The Lady Elizabeth School. House Parents will care for a small number of children aged from 12 to 17 years from different countries around the world. A bus will transport students to and from school each morning and afternoon and in the evenings there will be activities organised by the House Parents. The Boarding Facility has a large pool, a table tennis table, large community areas and is beautifully furnished. Meals will be prepared by the House Parents and all students will eat together in the dining area. On Saturday boarders will go with other students, staying with Host Families, to one of the theme parks BOARDING HOUSE in Benidorm. On Sunday they will go on cultural trips to FACILITY Valencia or Alicante, or go to the beach to participate in one of the great outdoor activities in the local area. Students will have an unforgettable experience staying in the Boarding House and will make lasting friendships with students from all around the world.
