| connecticut | maine | massachusetts | new hampshire | rhode island | vermont | FROM THE REGIONAL DIRECTOR & CHAIRMAN It does make one a bit green with envy when we see the warmer regions hosting car events during the winter. However, it is also nice to visit. Cavallino, Scottsdale, Cars on Fifth, and Amelia are some favorites, and it never ceases to amaze how many familiar northeastern faces we encounter on our travels. The 3rd EPIC Holiday Party at the McKelvy estate was again amazing! It’s hard to believe that the incredibly generous McKelvys could top themselves with even more beautiful decorations and more delicious food and drink, and yet they did. THANK YOU, Wendy, Michael, and lovely daughter Lexi, for hosting! Check out the pictures of all the pretty people in this issue. Also check out a few back-in-time articles including a gem on the late Werner Pfister provided by his wonderful brother Bob. The more things change the more they stay the same. We look forward to seeing you at an event this year! Warmly, Gary Suzy Gary Hiniker Suzy Hiniker NER Regional Director NER Treasurer and Chairman 6 | HORSETALES | march 2019

OFFICIAL FERRARI DEALER Ferrari of New England CLASSICHE OFFICIAL APPLICATION WORKSHOP For more than 60 years, Ferrari cars have been eagerly sought after by classic car collectors all over the world. One of the main functions of the Ferrari Classiche department is to issue Certificates of Authenticity to road-model Ferraris over 20 years old and all Ferrari competition cars, including Formula 1 single-seaters of any age. The Certificates officially attest to the cars’ authenticity, and also provide important documentation for buyers - should the certified cars ever be sold. Another advantage is that all certified cars are permitted to take part in official Ferrari events, such as the Shell Ferrari Historic Challenge, which takes place in North America and Europe.
