Information Services The Information Services (IS) department is one of the largest professional services within the university, responsible for the provision of technology systems and library services which support our 20,000 Students and 1500 academic and professional service staff. We are well regarded by both colleagues and students for the wide variety of services provided and, importantly, the collegiate and professional way in which they are delivered. The Opportunity Corporate Systems Manager Role Summary The Corporate Systems Team is responsible for maintaining and developing the University’s core systems that enable the University to operate as a Business, namely Finance, Human Resources, Property and Facilities. As part of the IS Extended Leadership team, the role holder will work with colleagues across the University to ensure the Corporate systems meet the University’s strategic, tactical and operational requirements. They will maintain and improve the systems in order to achieve high levels of service availability, efficiencies and improve the accuracy of data, acting as a trusted advisor to the Systems and Data Owners along with key stakeholders. The role holder will be responsible for working with partners and end users to plan all aspects of the team’s activities, including business as usual tasks, projects and the helpdesk, and developing the team’s skills to meet the future needs of the University. They will influence product roadmaps that align to the University’s strategy. This role has line management responsibility for up to six people.
