Re: Porsche Carrera Cup North America Sporting Regulations Updates
The following corrections, additions (where shown in red) or deletions are made to the 2022 IMSA
Sporting Regulations & Series Supplementary Regulations for the Porsche Carrera Cup and are
effective immediately.
9.4.12. Sporting Checks & Scrutineering
11.2. (SSR) Sporting Checks conclude at 4:00 pm local time the close of registration on the day prior to
the first Official Session for the respective Series, or as listed in the SR
13.2.4. (SSR) PCCNA Tire Registration
13.2.4.A. (SSR) Unused, allocated tires must be registered using MERG no later than the close of
Sporting Checks (Art. 11.2) for that Event (ATT. 3, Par. 3.4.4).
13.2.4.B. (SSR) Joker tires must be registered using MERG no later than sixty (60) minutes prior to first
use (ATT. 3, Par. 3.4.4).
13.2.4.C. (SSR) Penalties.
13.2.4.C.i. (SSR) Practice Penalty for use of unregistered unused allocated tires, or unregistered joker
tires: First violation, loss of fifteen (15) minutes of qualifying time. Second violation, prohibited to
participate in qualifying.
13.2.4.C.ii. (SSR) Qualifying Penalty for use of unregistered unused allocated tires, or unregistered
joker tires: Loss of all qualifying times.
13.2.4.C.iii. (SSR) Race Penalty for use of unregistered unused allocated tires, or unregistered joker
tires: Loss of two (2) laps. Loss of all Race lap times.
13.2.4.C.iv. (SSR) Tire Penalty Unregistered unused allocated tires, or unregistered joker tires are
rendered invalid for the remainder of the season.

3.4.3. The Wet tires are not counted in a Car’s allocation, however Wet tire purchases are is limited for
each Event as listed in the tire allocation table (Par. 3.4.4 & 3.4.5).

3.4.6. PCCNA Tire Registration

3.4.6.A. Unused, allocated tires must be registered using MERG (Art. 13.2) no later than the close of
Sporting Checks (Art. 11.2) for that Event (ATT. 3, Par. 3.4.4).
3.4.6.B. Joker tires must be registered using MERG (Art. 13.2) no later than sixty (60) minutes prior to
first use (ATT. 3, Par. 3.4.4).
3.4.6.C. Penalties.

5.1.1. IMSA requires specific logos to be on all Driver and Crew Member uniforms. Embroidered logos
are acceptable provided they are the exact size, shape & colors of the required/supplied patch. Printed
logos are acceptable for Crew Member uniforms.

5.1.2. Below are shown the official logos and only acceptable logos to be utilized on all Driver and Crew
Member uniforms. All logos must follow the brand guidelines posted on imsacompetitors.com, retain the
original logo aspect ratio, remain intact and must not be altered in any manner:
