YOUNGWORLD & HOME Bill Endres is founder and president of Select Brands, Inc. −
FURNISHINGS a private, family-owned company established in 1998. Select
Brands designs and develops small kitchen appliances in the heart
of America and manufactures overseas. Its product portfolio includes
company-owned, licensed and private label brands.
Prior to founding Select Brands, Bill served as senior vice president of sales
and marketing and board member of the Rival Company. Based in Kansas City and
perhaps best known for the Crock-Pot® brand, Rival was both a domestic manufacturer
and an importer of small electrical appliances. Bill spent 22 years at Rival in various sales and
marketing roles. He began his housewares career in 1970 with Corning Glass where he managed
three different geographies over a five-year period.
Dan Leppo is an executive vice president of menswear, childrenswear Bill has been actively involved with IHA for many years and is currently Chairman Elect of the Association’s
and home furnishings at Bloomingdale’s. Board of Directors. This year marks Bill’s 50th in the housewares industry.
Leppo began his career with Bloomingdale’s in 1994 and over the decade held various
buying roles within the organization. In 2001 he became the divisional merchandise manager

of men’s dress furnishings. He was promoted to operating vice president and divisional merchandise
manager for men’s dress furnishings and shoes in 2004, and again in 2008 to vice president.
Leppo became vice president of the Northeast Region in 2013, and in 2015 was promoted to senior vice president and
general merchandise manager of home. In 2016, he added men’s to his responsibilities when he was promoted to his
current role of executive vice president.
Leppo is a steering committee member of Macy’s North Star Relief Fund and chairman of the Annual Giving Campaign
for United Way. He is also a guest lecturer at his alma mater, Brown University.
