If you can’t stand the thought of another diet this class is for you. Do you
struggle to feel peaceful about your eating? Does guilt or shame show up
when you choose enjoyable foods? Do you go between eating more than
you want at times and avoiding food at other times? A peaceful relationship
with food is one of life’s great pleasures. An eating competent person feels
positive, comfortable, and flexible with eating as well as matter-of-fact and
reliable about getting enough to eat of foods they enjoy, and their health is
proven to be better than those who restrict their intake. Wish this could be
you?
The first of this two-part class provides a personal evaluation of your
own level of eating competence, discussion and exercises to allow your eat-
ing to become more positive, comfortable and flexible. The second class
answers questions that arise while implementing eating competence basics
in your life between sessions. Both classes encourage joyful eating, peace
with food, and changes in perspectives that lead to freedom with food.
This class is for adults 18 and older.
