Romans 15:5-6 (NIV) tells us “May the God who gives endur- ance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” God wants unity among His church. It’s the culture in which His glory and blessing comes. Unity brings the blessing of God.
Worship & Production I just want to take a moment to thank our Worship and Production Teams! They are really amazing! As we moved into Summer these teams jumped into action to get us back and run- ning with our on Campus services. They have flexed with ever changing circumstances and are working each week to create as great an experience as possible for everyone watching online and on campus. Over the Summer we have seen some tremendous growth online. We launched daily Devos in July. Over the Month of July the Daily Devos have been watched over 4,600 times. Our Weekend services since May have been watched online over 23,500 times. God has really been up to something incredible. I can’t wait to see what He does this Fall. Not only that but we have been able to see people meet Jesus online. We’ve seen some of these stories come from Oregon and from Illinois. Because we have seen all this growth online we are looking at how we can improve our online services. To do so we desperately need your help. Would you consider being a part of the Media Team? No training or experience is required. Really! No one that helps with the production right now had any formal training before being involved. You can be a part of this team too! Help us reach the next 20,000 people this fall! We can’t do it without you! If you sing or play an instrument we need you more than ever! There is a place for you on the worship team. If you are interested in learning an instrument let me know I’d be happy to teach you or to connect you with someone who can. You can write me at Jamesh@daktel.com -Pastor James.

Missions In Focus Greetings from Calcutta! Tragically, besides the corona virus pandemic, India’s worst cyclone made its land fall in Kolkata, devastating the city this last spring. The pictures are heartbreaking showing uprooted trees, windows and large glass panes blown out of buildings, water covering the airport like a river, and damages to so many buildings. Thanks to the technology of Zoom, we have talked to Pastor Ivan, also the CEO of our hospital, Sanjay Prasad, who have updated us and thankfully no lives were lost. Packaged rations and daily meals have continued to be given to the poor who suffered the most in Calcutta, India. Thanks for your continued prayers and sup- port. Greetings from the Lilly’s! Please keep Steve, Linda and Dakota Lilly in your prayers, they have been Missionaries to China for more than 3 decades. With the COVID19 epidemic and political developments, there have been many complications and unrest in China. As they are called to China they pursue making disciple's. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations”….Matt. 28:20. Christ never promised that our mission would be easy. In fact, He gave us a warning of the trials that would come to his people as they lived in obedience to His call. He did give us a command, however, and we remain convinced of its validity and His accompanying promise that He would NEVER leave us or forsake us. Special note: Dakota is attending the University of Jamestown and playing football. Watch for him in service.
