MAP A TRIP WITH UNIQUE SENSATIONS Riding atop a legendary motorcycle, the Royal Enfield, you will travel for more than 1200 kms (745 miles) between Bali and Java. Once you leave behind Ubud, you embark on a discovery of Indonesia’s traditions and natural marvels. You will quickly leave behind Bali, its rice terraces, its dense and lush jungles, its Hindu temples to discover Java’s coffee plantations, wild, untouched beaches and mythical volcanoes: Mount Bromo and Kawah Ijen. Upon returning to Bali after the Javanese adventure, you will enjoy crystalline waters and the gentle life in the Island of Gods. 2

YOUR TRIP IN 12 STAGES STAGE 1 Denpasar international airport – Ubud [30 km* – 1H riding]: Reception at the airport and transfer to Ubud, Bali’s cultural and artistic center. Check-in at the hotel. Free day. Ubud holds all of Bali’s magic, with its daily dance shows, shops and art galleries. It is a true treat for the eyes and the soul. Ubud – Belimbing [110 km* – 3/4H riding]: This morning, your motorcycle tour leader will introduce to your new mount: the Royal Enfield. The journey starts smoothly to the west of Ubud as we discover Bali’s wealth of natural resources. We ride on small roads through typical villages. We stop at Sacred Monkey Forest, a nature reserve with pilfering monkeys before reaching Jatiluwih, known for its magnificent rice fields classified by UNESCO as a world utronneau ane Ga ©Steph heritage site. After visiting the temple of Batukuru, we 2 STAGE arrive at Belimbing, a small village surrounded by greenery. 4
YOUR TRIP IN 12 STAGES Belimbing - Licin [140 km* – 4H riding + 1H ferry]: Tonight, we sleep on the island of Java! A magnificent road leads us to Bali’s northern coast for around 50 kms (31 miles). We ride along the seaside to reach Gilimanuk where the ferry for Java will be waiting for us. After a one hour journey, we get off on Indonesia’s biggest island. 30 kms (18 miles) to go before we reach our stop for the night at the foot of the Kawah Ijen volcano. ©Elisa beth F ieujan STAGE 3 Licin – Jember [130 km* – 4/5H riding]: The most courageous wake up early this morning to go to Paltuding, and begin a 3 kms trek which leads us to the top of Mount Ijen (approximately one and a half hour). On the rim of the crater, the first sunrays unveil astounding landscapes over the biggest acid lake in the world. On the way, we come across sulphur collectors. After a well-deserved breakfast at the hotel, we leave for Jember. We ride along small little-used roads through beautiful hartd ©Bo ris Bus coffee plantations. 4 STAGE 5
YOUR TRIP IN 12 STAGES Jember – Cemoro Lawang [170 km* – 5H riding]: We continue to go west, far from the main highways, between dense forest-covered hills and authentic villages to reach the region of Bromo. We stop for the night very close to the volcano that we will visit the next morning. ujan ©Elisa beth Fie T A G E 5 S STAGE 6 Cemoro Lawang – Papuma Beach [140 km* – 5H riding]: Very early in the morning, we leave to get a breathtaking view on Mount Bromo and the other volcanoes in the Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park. We then go down to the sea of sand and cross the cirque to reach the base of Mount Bromo. The lunar landscape makes for a visually stunning experience. We get back to our motorcycles and leave this volcanic and mineral region to return to the forests and coffee plantations. At the end of the day we reach the southern coast of Java and the wild untouched beach of Papuma. 6
YOUR TRIP IN 12 STAGES STAGE 7 Papuma Beach - Sukamade [160 km* - 5H riding]: Today, a very beautiful day awaits us, completely away from the beaten tracks, on the small roads of the Meru Betiri National Park. We reach Sukamade, to the South-East of Java. Several turtles come to lay eggs at dusk on this pristine beach. Sukamade – Pemuteran [140 km* - 4H riding + 1H ferry]: This morning, we head for Banyuwangi from where we take the ferry to go back to Bali island. After around 30 kms (18 miles) along the coast, we reach Pemuteran, by the seaside. We stop here for two nights. ujan ©Elisa beth Fie 8 STAGE 4
YOUR TRIP IN 12 STAGES Pemuteran: Menjangan Island Today, we leave the bikes for a well-deserved maritime escapade. We go to Menjangan Island, a protected reserve for its seabed and exceptional coral reefs! Up to you to choose between a diving tour or a snorkeling session with masks and tubas! In the afternoon, we go back to the Balinese coast. Possibility of visiting the one and only ©Elisa vineyard in Bali… beth F ieujan STAGE 9 Pemuteran – Tirtagangga [160 km* – 5H riding]: A very beautiful motorcycle stage will make you discover Bali’s riches and treasures. We ride along the extreme east coast for around 70 kms (43 miles) before going into the interiors. In the middle of the tropical jungle, we get a glimpse of our last volcano, Batur, before diving into the n southeastern part of the island to the small village of uja ©Elisa beth Fie Tirtagangga. YOUR TRIP IN 12 STAGES Tirtagangga – Ubud [100 km* – 3H riding]: Last day of motorbike ride on the small magical roads of the Balinese countryside. We will stop in the charming village of Sidemen lost in the rice fields to enjoy the peacefulness. On the way back, we visit two temples that are very important for the island’s inhabitants. Once in Ubud, you will have the time to do some shopping, relax at your hotel poolside or ujan ©Elisa beth Fie roam around in the art galleries of the city. T A G E 11 S STAGE 12 Ubud – Denpasar international airport [30 km* – 1H transfer]: Depending on your flight schedule, you can enjoy a few more hours of Ubud. MY CHECKLIST Appropriate equipment is a component of a successful journey! Travel lightly, TRY TO STAY UNDER 45LBS (20 KGS) BAGS: ❏ A sailor bag would be perfect, a walker's bag too (without steel bar). You can close it with a padlock if you want to. Don’t forget to tag it before leaving with your address.
