Get back to the Overview > 2 Staying at Lush What time is check in? Check out? Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 11am unless hotel management approves earlier arrival or later departure. If you will be arriving before check-in or leaving after check-out, we have a safe place to store your luggage. Do you have a honeymoon suite? Yes we have a honeymoon suite: Mirador Deluxe. It is a duplex featuring an open air bathroom with bathtub, huge floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom offering magnificent views of Lake Atitlan and the 3 volcanoes. It has a fully stocked kitchen with refrigerator, dining area and huge terrace with 360 degree views of the lake and the mountains around Lush. Do you accept children? We accept children at the hotel on a case by case basis. We have had guests with children many times without an issue but have had a few cases in which it did not work out. The general environment of the hotel is one of quiet, peace and tranquility. If you will have trouble getting your kids to use their quiet voices when on the premises, then we may not be the location for you. We require that you never leave your children unsupervised on our grounds. We ask that you consider your children’s temperament, energy level and voice volume when you consider staying with us. We like to maintain a non stressful and peaceful relationship between our guests. We have children and know it can be difficult to keep them well behaved. Please consider this before making your reservation (especially if your children are very young or especially energetic). We reserve the right to cancel the reservation if your children’s behavior does not meet these conditions. What is included in the breakfast? What is a continental buffet breakfast with coffee or tea, fresh juice, bread, butter, homemade jam, granola, milk, hard boiled eggs and seasonal tropical fruits. We serve breakfast from 8 to 10am daily. Do you have wifi? Yes, but this is Guatemala and sometimes there are outages beyond our control. We can help you figure out a backup system because there are times that the signal is not working or weak due to problems on the side of our provider. Is Lush environmentally friendly? We work very hard to minimally impact the environment. Tripadvisor has awarded us The Green Leader Award for our efforts. We do not use any pesticides in the hotel. We value the fact that we are built into a nature reserve and try to protect the environment however possible.
