Meditation Aids
Water
You may be very aware of the benefits of meditation, and know that it is a perfect gateway to inner-stillness,
essential to any psychic work. However, for many achieving a state of proper meditation is a struggle. If, that is the
case for you, or if you are just thinking about trying meditation, then read on for useful ideas.
• In an ideal world find a quiet space that is clean, comfortable, uncluttered and airy. Go to this space each time
you want to meditate; over time this will enhance the energy.
• Focus on the quality of the meditation, rather than time. Achieving two minutes of balance, and genuine inner-

silence is much better than 20-minutes, struggling to focus, batting away negative racing thoughts. You can work up
to longer contemplation periods over time.
• You can sit on the floor, or in a chair. It is good if your back is supported and your hands can rest in an open position.
• Forcing your mind to concentrate can be counter-productive. Try to be focused, but without undue effort. If busy or
negative thoughts keep intruding, try to imagine them floating by you, rather than angrily hurrying them away.
• If meditation has been difficult in the past, try one of these methods to help you still any inner-voices:

Breathing - Focus on your breathing. If that is not enough try adding in counting. Inhale and then exhale each to crying interprets magical images,

Scrying with water is considered to be especially enchanting. Being outside, having the surface of water impacted
by the sun, the moon, the wind, the rain and so on - gives an added dimension to the light, shadows, and
movement of images.
