Members Reserve ACCESS AND SEATING The MCC Members Reserve Full and Restricted members as well as annual guest cardholders have access to the MCC Reserve for all 2020 AFL Premiership Season. Provisional members can also access the Reserve consists of four levels of seating for selected matches. Access and arrangements for the AFL Finals Series will be communicated within the Northern Stand, to members once scheduling is confirmed. with a capacity of almost 23,000 All MCG event days have been categorised according to the expected demand from members (including standing room). and their guests to attend that day. BALCONY SEATING LONG ROOM The majority of seating on Level 2 and all seating on Level 3 in the MCC Reserve The Long Room is only accessible for members and guests is allocated for members, as well as guests with a Long Room or Balcony pass. aged 18 or older. 03 BALCONY AND LONG ROOM PASS CONDITIONS Members can apply for Balcony or Long Room passes depending on the category of the match and subject to availability. Applications for Balcony and Long Room passes open at 9.00am on the Monday two weeks prior to each round, and close at 5.00pm on the Tuesday prior to the match. Applications will be processed in order of receipt and are accepted via the MCC website or email. There is a limit of 10 successful advanced applications per member for the full season. Members who do not collect their allocated passes on more than one occasion without providing prior notice to the Club will be excluded from making further applications. Any passes not allocated in advance will be available for collection on match day from the ticket window on the left hand side of Gate 2. MISUSE OF 50-YEAR MEMBERS MEMBERSHIP CARDS The MCC provides a reserved seating area (N42) and the John Landy Room, both on Level 2, for the exclusive use of MCC members of 50 Membership cards are for individual use only and are strictly non- or more years standing. Ticketing VISITOR TICKETS Full and Restricted members are entitled to up to four tickets for visitor tickets for each game (excluding the ANZAC Day match, where a limit of up to two tickets applies). Provisional members are able to purchase visitor tickets for selected matches. See the membership table on page two for details. Applications close at 5.00pm the following day. Registrations can be made through the MCC website or by calling the Club on (03) 9657 8888. At the time of registering members will be required to provide: • Name • Membership number • Number of people dining (including membership numbers of other members in the group) • Preferred dining time When registrations exceed room capacity a ballot will be conducted and all registered members will be notified of the outcome. Members who are unsuccessful in the ballot may be offered priority access to other match day dining facilities. This will be communicated following the ballot if applicable. The number of guests permitted for dining at each match is outlined in the table on page 2. Note – Members should purchase visitor tickets in advance as dining bookings do not guarantee entry to the Reserve if visitor tickets sell out. DRESS STANDARDS The Club’s dress standards will be strictly enforced during the 2020 AFL Premiership Season. To avoid Members embarrassment at the turnstiles, members should ensure that their attire, and that of their guests, is Reserve in accordance with the areas of the MCC Members Reserve planned to attend. ACCEPTABLE The minimum standard dress to enter the MCC Members Reserve is neat casual for men and women. Males aged 15 and over must wear a collared shirt, even if worn under a collared sweater or jacket, at all times. NOT ACCEPTABLE — MEN • T-shirts, singlets, crew neck tops (skivvies are acceptable) • Any form or sports shorts or board shorts • Thongs, scuffs, dilapidated footwear, gumboots, slippers and ugg boots • Torn or ripped garments (even if ‘designer’ tears) • Tracksuit pants • Any clothing displaying obscene or offensive messages NOT ACCEPTABLE — WOMEN • Any form of sportswear • Bikini tops and tops showing bare midriff NOT ACCEPTABLE BECAUSE: Man: Torn jeans, thongs, no collared shirt Woman: Sportswear • Thongs, scuffs, dilapidated footwear, gumboots, slippers and ugg boots PLEASE NOTE: • Torn or ripped garments • Notwithstanding the dress standards outlined, management reserves the right to refuse (even if ‘designer’ tears) entry to any person considered unsuitably attired. • Tracksuit pants • No caps, hats or beanies are to be worn in the Frank Grey Smith Bar or Jim Stynes Grill. • Any clothing displaying obscene or • National costume and religious requirements are acceptable in the Reserve, Members offensive messages Dining Room and Long Room.
07 DRESS STANDARDS Long Room and Members Dining Room ACCEPTABLE The dress standard for men in the Long Room and Members Dining Room is a lounge suit or tailored jacket, shirt, tie, slacks (tailored chinos acceptable) and dress shoes. Women are expected to dress to a similar standard.
