Marie Curie visitou o Brasil Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions: Opportunities – 12-14 September 2018, Campus de Botucatu, UNESP ▪ 1926 – passou 45 dias no Brasil (Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Minas) ▪ Um grande evento de notícias da época (15 vezes a capa de O Paiz…) ▪ No Rio, entre compromissos acadêmicos (palestras UFRJ, transmitidas por rádio), visitou muitos pontos turisticos e culturais (e tomou muitos banhos de mar) ▪ Em São Paulo, 3 dias de compromissos: Faculdade de Medicina em Pinheiros, Museu Curie/Paris Instituto Butantan, Estação Biológica de Alto da Serra, e até Thermas de Lindoya ▪ Em Minas, visitou o Instituto de Radium (hoje Instituto Borges de Costa) da Faculdade de Medicina da UFMG convite do Instituto Franco-Brasileiro de Alta Cultura, mantido pela Embaixada Francesa
