JANUARY 2022 SCHOLARSHIP NEWSLETTER Students should begin looking for scholarships towards the end of their Junior year of High School. Any questions regarding scholarships can be directed to Mrs. Vanderbilt Email lvanderbilt@charterk12.com | Phone (813) 793-6075 ext. 4423 WHAT'S INSIDE FLORIDA BRIGHT FUTURES Florida Bright Futures is a state funded Local Scholarships program that provides students with the opportunity to earn 100% tuition or 75% tuition based on weighted GPA and SAT/ACT scores. In order to be eligible for the 100% No Essay Scholarships scholarship, students need to perform 100 hours of community service and log it through Profferfish. To be eligible for the 75% scholarship, students must complete 75 National Scholarships community service hours and log these hours into Profferfish. In addition to students meeting these requirements, students who earn the AICE Diploma are also eligible to receive Florida Bright Futures with completion of 100 service hours. The program is accepted at any Public Florida University. The credit cost can also be translated to the cost of a Private University within the state of Florida, the student would then be responsible for the difference in credit hour cost.
