ENCOURAGING ONE ANOTHER WITH NOTES AND CARDS – CONNECT
WOW!! The picture above shows the amount of the
cards of encouragement someone in our church
received from our congregation! What a wonderful
act of God’s love for one another. The impact we
can make in one another’s lives as we go through
life together is incredible with just a simple note or
card.
Consider it when you feel that nudge from the
Spirit to reach out to someone.
Therefore encourage one another and build each
other up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11

•6th-12th Grade Students
•A place to connect through fellowship, have fun, grow in God, love, and serve
others
• Sundays 4:00-6:00pm
◦ Next Youth Life Group is at church on Sunday April 24
• Fun trips monthly or service projects
◦ Next trip is in May to Rising Park
Summer opportunities for fun, Bible study and faith growing
• Mission Adventure Week at Camp Otterbein
• Serving Lancaster through various projects

• Helping at VBS
• Adventures like Zoombezi Bay, pool party, and more!
FIRST PRES YOUTH GROUP FUNDRAISER
Rent – A – Youth
To help with the cost of camp, the youth are
conducting a fundraiser called Rent A Youth.
The youth can be hired for things such as:
• Yard Work (weeding, mulching, mowing)
• Babysitting or Parent Helper
• Wash a car
• Cleaning
• House Chores
• Any other task around the house or yard
The Youth are going to Camp Otterbein for a mission trip/camp week, June 26-July 1. They will
be serving at the local food bank, helping families in need with house repairs, and participating
in camp activities of praise and worship, team challenges, team building, daily devotionals, and
more.
Donations for their work will go through the church to help cover the youth’s camp costs.

RIGHTNOW MEDIA SPOTLIGHT

imaginable, the church.
Consider this a wakeup call. Allow the Holy Spirit to stir
up your devotion to God’s work again. It’s not going to
be easy, but He has given us everything we need, and
we have nothing to fear. He is powerful. He is present.
And He will build and bless His church.
Haggai: Building God's Church
‘“Be strong, all you people of the land,” declares the LORD, “and work. For I am with you,”
declares the LORD Almighty… “And my Spirit remains among you. Do not fear.”’ (Haggai 2:4-5,
NIV) This was God’s promise to His people as they set out to rebuild the temple. It’s still His
promise to us, as we build His church all over the earth.

BOTTOMS UP DIAPER DRIVE – CONNECT
Diaper need is defined as not having a sufficient supply of diapers to keep a baby clean, dry,
and healthy. Sadly, 1 in 3 U.S. families report struggling with diaper need. The World’s Largest
Diaper Drive has the goal of alleviating diaper need in Central Ohio by collecting half a million
diapers the week of May 7th. We are again partnering with Bottoms Up to help achieve this
goal. Simply buy diapers (size 4,5,6 are always most needed) and bring them to church from
April 3 – May 7, 2022. Last year First Pres congregation collected 3,020 diapers. Let’s surpass
that amount this year!
Please help us collect a whole bunch of diapers for this worthwhile cause. (Contact Scott Craft

If you’ve ever wanted to go to the Ark Encounter, here’s your chance to do it and leave the
