Dedicated faculty guide instruction in a comprehensive undergraduate curriculum, mentoring students to experience the transforming power of the arts and to excel in their profession. VOCAL 6 MUSIC The Division of Fine Arts fosters a long tradition of excellence. We have had performing arts on our campus since 1900 and visual arts since 1917. This heritage informs our 21st INSTRUMENTAL century model of providing outstanding educational and creative experiences through 7 dedicated faculty/mentors, more than 20 guest musicians, choreographers and artists, MUSIC and 150 concerts, performances, exhibits and events annually. from the desk of DR. JOAN GRIFFING FINE ARTS DIVISION CHAIR Q& A What did your previous position entail? At Eastern Mennonite University (EMU), I was chair of the music department for 22 years. In that capacity, I oversaw all the events of the collegiate department and our community music programs. I taught violin and viola lessons and classes pertaining to strings. All off-campus performances will only accept cash and checks at the door. Refunds & Exchanges 1 Online friends.edu/finearts We cannot give refunds or exchanges for purchased tickets. Season Tickets Season tickets are available for Singing Quakers or a “Pick 4” package. Each 2 subscription will include one ticket to each performance in the package at a 10 Phone percent discount. The Singing Quakers package will include all three Singing Quakers performances for the season. The “Pick 4” package will include any four 316-295-5677 performances of your choice during the season.
