All adventures are suitable for beginners served up with a bit of a challenge to build your confidence. If you need help putting on snowshoes, please arrive 20 minutes prior to the trail- 6 run and advise a hike leader that you need assistance. Equipment needs: Snowshoers must be dressed for cold weather (layers, waterproof shell if needed, warm socks/boots, hat, etc.) and require a headlamp or flashlight to guide through the dark. Rentals: You can rent a pair of snowshoes for free from Ocean Trail Source for Adventure, February 1-10! Visit the store at 52 Wyse Street in Moncton or call 855-2040 for more information. Curling sticks are available for folks with limited mobility. SLEDGE SKATING Sledges will be available for everyone to try sledge skating on the outdoor oval. Sledge skating is a great opportunity for people with an exceptionality to be physically active in the winter season. Please bring someone along to help with your transfer.
