From the Directors Box Good afternoon and a warm welcome to Cuthbury to our visitors from Melksham Town F.C. We extend our hospitality to the visiting officials. players, staff and supporters and hope that you enjoy your time with us and have a safe journey home. A huge thanks to all supporters who are assisting both us and you by following the Government Covid Restrictions. With your help we can hopefully carry on playing football with you all able to attend. Face masks will have to be worn entering the ground and whenever moving around the ground. They must also be worn when entering the Clubhouse and can only be removed once sat down. The latest rules state that it is table service only in the Clubhouse and No Alcohol must be taken outside or into the ground. Football matters now, and we have not had a great start with our league matches as far as points go, the boys have been playing some good football but not been able to get the ball into the back of the net. We did get a point with the draw against Dorchester on Tuesday evening which lifted us of the bottom of the table. Onwards and upwards now. Results in the F A Cup matches have seen us score the much needed goals to progress us through the cup run and hopefully this will continue today. This week Graham, Val and I had the great pleasure of taking Harry Redknapp on a tour of the new ground which is progressing well. When asked for his comments he replied ‘fantastic!’ Over the next few days, the main car park, the cover stands, and the seated stands will all be in place. The main building has started to be decorated inside with doors and flooring being fitted. The grass pitches have been reseeded and sanded and well watered and it seems that it is still on track for a November handover. We will keep you informed on the progress. We hope that you enjoy today’s game. Stay safe, Stay well. Tony Tony Grant - Chairman
