Fellini 100: a conference entirely dedicated to this unicum in the history of cinema
Scholars, researchers, academics from all over the world in Rimini to interrogate, investigate and dissect the most
famous of the nocturnal journals, the album where Fellini noted, for over thirty years, his oneiric activity, a real
source of his overflowing inventive talent.
In fact, the purpose of the conference is to understand whether the Fellini book of cinema can be metaphorically
and literally "re-opened", with the confirmation of some lines of study and of new research perspectives, on the
occasion of the centenary of the director's birth and in the imminence of the opening of the new Federico Fellini
International Museum.
The conference is one of the initiatives that, under the title of "Fellini 100", are supported by the Coordination of
the celebrations for the centenary of the birth of Federico Fellini (1920-2020), composed by the Municipality of
Rimini, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Directorate General of the Mibac, the Directorate General of MAECI, the
Istituto Luce / Cinecittà, the Experimental Center for Cinematography / National Film Archive, the Cineteca di
Bologna Foundation and the Turin Film Museum.

Second edition
The second edition of the festival 'E 'BAL - stages in Romagna for contemporary dance', is promoted by ATER -
Multidisciplinary Regional Circuit and is realized by a network of live show operators of the territory, with the
support of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
Born to give space to the vital scene of Italian contemporary dance, E ’bal (in the Romagna dialect the ball),
takes place from 1 November 2019 to 14 June 2020 in 8 Municipalities, including the Republic of San Marino.
The shows that take place in Rimini are: Sweet like a chocolate (19 March at 9 pm CANCELED, at the Teatro
degli Atti), ILINX - don't stop the dance (5 April at 9 pm at the Teatro degli Atti), Energheia (8 April at 9pm at the
Teatro degli Atti).
Also in Rimini, in the Judgment Room of the City Museum, the first of the 5 meetings takes place 'DANCE 2.0 -
Words and images on the dance between history, power and technology: Modern and contemporary dance
between continuity and breaks', held by the expert Alessandro Pontremoli, (5 March at 5 pm, free admission).

activity expressed by sociologist and anthropologist Roger Caillois.
According to Caillois the forms of the game can be summarised into four basic categories: agon, or competition;
alea, the desire and the pleasure of abandoning oneself to the whims of fate; mimicry, pretending to be someone
else in the game; ilinx, the excitement experienced during the game due to extraneous forces over which one has
no control.
Simona Bertozzi's choreography moves like an individual game, intoxicating to vertigo, with an original reflection
on the performer's solitude, the testimony of her playful universe and her stubborn dedication to the exercise and
precision of the gesture.

Energheia, which indicates the act of transformation, the new work by Paola Bianchi, first chapter of the ELP
project. Focusing precisely on the transformations of the body, Energheia pays particular attention to the anatomy
and proximity of the gaze: Paola Bianchi asked about forty people which are the public images that even after
years continue to be alive in their visual memory.
The choreographer selected 88 that entered her body of dancer, deforming it, modifying its postures and tensions
to generate "states of the body".

Music doesn't stop. Despite having canceled the dates of his European tour due to the Convid
19 Emergency, Federico Mecozzi, a famous young musician from Rimini, who has been playing for nine years
alongside Ludovico Einaudi, is willing to accept the invitation to play his violin from home. It is possible to listen to
Federico Mecozzi on the portal of Rimini Municipality in the new section StRIMINING - culture at home, where he
plays one of his songs, 'Desert Dance' together with several local musicians, all rigorously from home. They
are Federico's longtime collaborators: Stefano Zambardino (accordion), Massimo Marches (bouzouki), Veronica

The diptych Cavalleria rusticana and Pagliacci with the direction of Damiano Michieletto is back on the scenes of

Cinema Tiberio proposes a cycle dedicated to the great theater of London in the original English version with

dance.
Tuesday 3 March is the turn of the musical entitled Kinky Boots, by Cindy Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, winner of
six Tony Awards, including the one for the best musical.
Cindy Lauper, proposes a dynamic musical score, inspired by real events, about a shoe factory in Northampton
that manages to avoid bankruptcy by producing boots for drag queens with unexpected success.

Sergio Casabianca returns to the Galli Theater with a music / theatre / circus show.
Inspired by the Fellinian Year, the Rimini singer-songwriter presents some songs from his repertoire with great

On stage with him his historical band Le Gocce, the Eos quartet, Dino Gnassi on trombone and arrangements,
Daniele Mancini on sax and Stefano Serafini on trumpet.
And also the dancers of the Officina delle Arti with the choreography by Marco Baldazzi and the circus performers
Giorgia Vandi, Davide Carattini, Gloria Barbanti and Enzo Savona as jugglers, waders, aerial acrobats and
mimes.

To celebrate the centenary of Federico Fellini's birth, the Oscar-winning film AMARCORD returns to the Fulgor
Cinema.
As is well known, the film narrates the memory of the director's childhood, transfigured by time, as the title of the
film says, 'a m'arcord', or 'I remember' in Romagna dialect.
Set in 1933 in a Rimini rebuilt in Cinecittà, the film tells the characters that populated the town, their habits, their
vices, fascism and anti-fascism.

Cinema Tiberio presents, in the original English version with Italian subtitles, a cycle dedicated to the great theater
of London recorded in the most prestigious stages of the British capital: great musicals, prose and contemporary
dance.
Tuesday 5 May is the turn of the Matthew Bourne's 'Romeo + Juliet', dance show recorded in 2019 at the Sadlers'
Wells Theater in London.
It takes place in a not too distant future, inside the "Verona Institute" where several young people considered "in
difficulty" are mysteriously segregated and marginalized by society, and where also takes place the tragic story of
the two unfortunate lovers, written by William Shakespeare,.

Pre-recorded at the Teatro Real in Madrid
The musical direction was entrusted for the occasion to the Italian maestro Nicola Luisotti, who set his direction on
meditated and expanded times, perhaps in an attempt to adapt to the solemn show signed by Robert Wilson.
The Turandot designed by Wilson for the Teatro Real in Madrid is a solemn and visually striking show, thanks to
the skilful use of lights, colors and a rigorous compositional symmetry of the scenes.
The three characters Wilson seems to have mainly focused on are Ping, Pong and Pang, which become real
masks (both in movements and in facial expressions), as if they had come out of the Commedia dell'Arte,
resulting the most successful characters of the work.

Final stage of the European Tour by Federico Mecozzi
Federico Mecozzi, violinist and multi-instrumentalist from Rimini, for ten years alongside Ludovico Einaudi,
concludes his European tour 2020 at the Galli Theater.
After the two sold out concerts in January 2019, in which he presented his debut album Awakening at the Galli
Theater, the artist will perform it again rearranging it completely, for the first time together with the Rimini Classica
Symphony orchestra.
"Awakening" is an album consisting of 11 tracks and contains several collaborations.
The first date of the concert, scheduled for May 16, is already sold out at the Teatro Galli in Rimini. A second
appointment has already been scheduled for the following day - Sunday 17 May - whose presale will open on 14
February.

Concert in honor of the SS. Virgin Mary
Concert dedicated to the figure of the SS. Virgo, at the end of the Marian month.
The inspirational trace is a poem by Hildegard Von Bingen, AVE GENEROSA.
The choice of the songs ideally retraces Mary's life, from the announcement of the Angel to the final glory tribute

The performance is by the 'Jubilate Deo' Polyphonic Choir, a well-known Rimini band operating since 1985,

Event by 'La Brigata del diavolo'
'Romagna Osteria' is a project by 'Visit Romagna' that gather the best chefs in the area, who bring their
knowledge and culinary flavors to the evocative places of Romagna.
The idea is inspired by the "Manifesto" of the Cuochi Sognatori of the Associazione Brigata del Diavolo, led by
the creator Fausto Fratti. The Brigade, was born from the passion for cooking combined with the discovery of the
landscape.
It is stimulating for chefs to tell the story, the colors and the flavors enhancing the charm of the places and the
beauty of nature. For this reason, the decision to leave their restaurants and move their kitchen to the most
unusual sites rich in poetry, art and spirituality. Many are the appointments between May 2019 and end 2020.
Along this journey, the Brigade has planned several stops. In Rimini: after the Christmas party at the Grand Hotel
in December 2019, the brigade is back on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 September 2020 in the Vecchia Pescheria
(the old fish market) in Piazza Cavour. On the occasion of the reopening of the fishing season, the cooks will

Event opens to all bike lovers
The event, dedicated to bike enthusiasts of two wheels organized by 'Taking-Off' in collaboration with the
Municipality of Rimini, APT Servizi Emilia Romagna and Tourist Destination Romagna, is ready to return with an
exhibition village of over 45,000 square meters, more than 300 brands of the sector and thousands of bikes to be
discovered and tested in preview on the 4,000 square meters offroad track or on the routes dedicated to road and
urban bikes!
A rich program which in 2019 has contributed to attract over 40,000 people from all over Italy !
Free registration for the event will open soon.
The third edition of the Italian Bike Festival provides an area entirely dedicated to cycling tourism where you will
have the opportunity to present your offer to thousands of users who are looking for specific services and eager to
discover new destinations.
The Tourism Village is also the ideal place to meet B2B operators and develop their business.

International regularity rally for historic cars
30th edition of the modern Gran Premio Nuvolari, the international rally reserved for historical cars, (built between
1919 and 1972) according to F.I.A. / F.I.V.A. / A.C.I. Sport.?
Historic cars from all over the world will compete in the Nuvolari Grand Prix on a 1000 km route through the most
evocative historic centers in Italy.
The highlight is Saturday, with the arrival in the late afternoon in Piazza Tre Martiri, while in the evening the cars
will park in Piazzale Fellini, where the public will be able to admire them.

An event unique in Europe: a tour with rally-style navigation formula.
