The competition will take place on August, Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 2019. THE COMPETITION VENUE Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/o1rbjTksQww The competition will be held on the “Przystanek Stawy – łowisko wędkarskie” in the locality of Grębów, in south-eastern Poland. The pond is approximately 12 km from the Stalowa Wola. The venue have an area of 11 hectares, the average depth is about1,7 metres. The Pond is straight (in a rectangular shape), which guarantees (offer) equal fishing conditions for all competitors. The prevalent fish species are carp and sturgeon. Others such as crucian carp, roach and perch also are presented. There is a ditch depth of about 1.8 m along the circumference of the pond; this is characteristic of fishing breeding ponds. The ditch is a pond construction that makes it easier to catch fish after emptying it.

GENERAL PROVISIONS 2-Day-Competition, only feeder angling technique is allowed. Classifications: ranking by team and individual ranking. Team composed of 4 anglers. In addition, the classification is carried out in the women's category. Individual anglers can participate in any Category: Senior or Women. All the Teams are obligated to confirm the date of their arrival at least 10 days before the date of the first training session. ATTENTION! You need to be able to take your equipment to the rings. You cannot drive to the ring by car, that is why do not forget to provide yourself with vehicles. COMPETITION PROGRAMME All nets in which fish will be kept during the competition must be disinfected. Disinfection will take place on 08/23/2019 at 7:00 am on the venue in Grębów. Fri 23th August - Training 8:00 – Draw for Training Boxes; 9:00 – Competitors enter their angling position; 10:00 – Start of training; 16:00 – End of training; 20:00 – Captains’ meetings* and drawing lots exclusively attributing sectors (A, B, C, etc.) to each angler of each team.. *Captains’ meetings are informative meetings, where guidelines are provided for the competitions. Under Sat 24th August Competition Day 1 7:00 – REGISTRATION OF TEAMS, Captains Meeting, check of the documents, drawing by lot and distribution of back numbers, opening ceremony; 7:30 – First signal – Entry of competitors in the rings; 9:30 – Second signal – Control of baits and groundbaits (yellow flag signal); 10:20 – Third signal – Heavy ground baiting, NO FISHING (green flag signal); 10:30 – Fourth signal - Start of competition (green flag signal); 15:25 – Fifth signal – Warning 5 minutes remaining to the end of the leg (yellow flag signal); 15:30 – Sixth signal - End of the competition and start of weigh-in; after the signal, no fish will count unless it is totally clear of the water (red flag signal). Dead fish will not be weighed; 20:00 – Captains meeting, draw for final day Sections, publication of the first leg ranking list. One signal and red flag signal means that competition is stopped.

MAIN RULES OF THE COMPETITION Each competitor is expected to fully abide by the competition rules. During the competition only barbless hooks are allowed. Barbed hooks are forbidden. (In fish fishing, only burr-free hooks are allowed.) Only single hooks are allowed Only feeder angling technique is allowed. The “feeder method” angling technique is forbidden. Anglers can use only line and line leaders. The use of braids and braided leaders is not allowed. Only In-line system is allowed Concerning the end of the line, the minimum distance between the hook and the feeder (hook-length) is 50 cm. Such distance shall be measured between the lower edge of the feeder and the hook. Below is an example Fish shall be kept alive in micromesh keep-nets. Every angler should have 2 keep- nets (a minimum length of 3.00 metres each); It shall be positioned underwater for at least 1.50 metres during the entire competition. In one angler will kept small fish alive (breams, roaches), the second one is for big fish (such as carps, sturgeons) It shall be prohibited to use any other means to keep the catch. Only feeder baiting is allowed. The maximum feeder size is 5-cm diameter and 7-cm length. Feeders must freely slide on the line or on the belaying-pin rack fixed on the line. It is forbidden to put any stop or slower (e.g. silicon) between the feeder and the reel. Corn maize, aromas, dyes, wheat, hempseed, etc. and other additives that are not toxic for the fauna and the water environment is limited to 17 litres. T he use of ground and clay are forbidden. The use of pellets, boiles or any other kind of agglomerated ground baits is not allowed for hooking and ground baiting.
Baits used on the hook shall not be mixed on the point, they shall be put onto the hook; bread and paste (mixture of substances or baits such as the pellet, boiles, balls of ground bait or pasted baits, etc.) are forbidden. The composition of ground baits and baits shall be of natural origin. It is forbidden to use metal products. Artificial baits of whatever material (polystyrene, rubber, sponge, etc.) such as fake maggots, silkworms, moths, bloodworms, earthworms, etc. are prohibited. It is forbidden to fish with spoons, artificial flies, baits made by using living or dead fish (or fishes’ parts), other animal species such as frogs or fish roe 2.50 litres of worms is allowed for per one competition day (bloodworm are limited to 0.5 litres). The ground baits shall be presented at the checks in graduated buckets, and the baits in “official size” boxes. Competitors shall imperatively be equipped with their own buckets and boxes of the allowed size. The worms shall be presented in an “official size” box. Below is an example: Sieving of ground baits (through a sieve, hamper, landing nets’ tip and others) and mixing (with electric mixer) are forbidden once the checks have been carried out. After the control of the baits and of the ground baits, it is forbidden for anglers to receive further quantities of baits and ground baits. Until the signal to enter the box is given, the baits and the ground baits may be prepared by the angler or a third party outside the box. After the signal to enter the box and until the check is performed, this preparation may be performed either by a third person outside the box or by the competitor inside the box. No surplus/left ground baits and baits shall be thrown into the water after training period and after the competition. TEAM MANAGER (CAPTAINS): — May enter their teams’ competitor pegs; — Captains shall wear green back-numbers marked with a C, clearly indicating their status. — Only one captain shall be authorised inside a peg. — Team manager is authorized to access the angling ring of the competitors of his team and this only to give verbal advice. — Is not allowed into the ring of an angler who is not part of his team. Also the official companion of the competitor is authorized to enter inside the ring.
