BY THE TIME YOU GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL, you’re a school expert. It’s likely that you already balance homework with a part-time job, and you somehow fit a social life (or scroll through Instagram) in between. Whether school was a struggle or a breeze, it doesn’t matter. All students are different. Learning what doesn’t work for you is just as important as learning what does. Every experience can help prepare you for the choices ahead. 6 ABOVE: FULTON LIBRARY (FL) 7
EXPLORE YOUR OPTIONS, ASK QUESTIONS, & TRUST YOUR GUT. Choosing a university is all about finding the best fit for you. Maybe you learn best through watching an expert or through reading a textbook. Maybe you prefer to get in and get your hands dirty. It’s time to explore your options, ask questions, and trust your gut. 8 9

* Double-Dog- Dare you to call 801-863-1941 This is a real number that you can call to hear a message. When was the last time you made an actual phone call? * Reason #593 that the wolverine is the greatest school mascot… sometimes the wolverine is called a nasty cat. 20 21

What your ramen preference says 1 about you… * 1. TOP RAMEN: The classic student. You’re practical and a little (sometimes a lot) salty. Studying in your dorm room will allow you to 2 take “breaks” to binge-watch Netflix. You’ll probably spend a lot of time thinking about that paper you’ve been meaning to finish. 2. CUP OF NOODLES: The overachieving student. You’re a planner, and you lean toward convenience. If there’s a big test in the morning, you’ll have an alarm set to remind you to get to bed early. You’re likely to study in the library with your fellow like-minded academics. 3. SNAPCHAT RAMEN RECIPE: (Made famous by Kylie Jenner.) The social student. You’re a little bit fancy, and you don’t necessarily follow the crowd. You’re more likely to go out with friends the night before a big test than to study. Somehow you manage to keep that GPA afloat. 3 4 4. RAMEN: The conscientious student. You’ve got standards and would pull an all-nighter to prepare for a test, if needed. People will find you studying in a coffee shop or local independent bookstore. You value culture and diversity, which (along with some caffeine) helps you to stay woke. * Ramen doesn’t actually determine who you are. Most students are a combination of these traits and would eat any noodles given to them. 26 NO. 5 — ALT. OPTION: JT’S HAIR FROM 1998 (GOOGLE IT) 27
