Workspace Health offer a national assessment service with over 70 Assessors including Chartered Physiotherapists and Occupational Health experts, based around the needs of our clients with a bespoke Support Level Agreement designed to work for your business needs. Workplace assessments are carried out on a reactive basis to assist with a wide range of medical conditions that impair an employee’s ability to work to their full potential. With early intervention and the introduction of the correct ergonomic equipment and the required education on best working practice, we can help you reduce the risk of long-term absenteeism and assist the duty of care practiced by you the employer. With unrivalled access to ergonomic seating, sit/stand desking and ancillary desktop products, we provide a wide range of seating and accessories to suit any MSD and/or ULD. Furthermore, it is the product knowledge and expert advice offered to the ‘end user’ that sets us apart. Education is one of the key aspects in helping the ‘end user’ achieve the desired result from any product, including expert advice on optimal seating position and ergonomic values at the work-station. It is this individual care and attention that is key to our clients and the ongoing support we provide to help resolve issues. Your dedicated Account Manager will be on-hand to offer advice and guidance regarding any ergonomic issues you may face and provide support with assessment services when required. This is typically done on a reactive basis and an assessment can be carried out within an agreed time frame to suit your employee’s. On-site set ups of equipment will also be carried out at your request with ongoing telephone support to give you the reassurance to trust us for all workplace solutions. Assessment Services STANDARD LEVEL ONE DSE ASSESSMENT • Workspace Health provide standard DSE assessments in line with HSE guidelines. This is to ensure you are legally compliant and within the general guidelines set out in the “Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992”. This type of assessment is charged at £55.00 and comprises of a tick-sheet format completed with the end user and reviewed by our assessors to ascertain further actions if required. LEVEL TWO REMEDIAL ASSESSMENT • Workspace Health provide an onsite ergonomic needs assessment to identify specific products required by employee’s that are suffering from recognised muscular skeletal issues and require intervention of specialist equipment. This type of assessment is charged at £95.00 and completed by one of our fully qualified DSE assessors at the employee’s place of work. A full written report will be provided with information and justification on what changes are recommended. LEVEL THREE ADVANCED ASSESSMENT • Workspace Health provide an advanced consultation assessment to identify specific issues. This type of assessment is charged at £250.00 and completed by one of our Chartered Physiotherapists, Occupational Health Specialists or Ergonomic Experts at an agreed date & time at the employee’s place of work. A full written report will be provided with information on recommended actions. HOMEWORKER ASSESSMENT • Workspace Health provide an onsite Homeworker ergonomic needs assessment to identify specific products required by employee’s that are suffering from recognised muscular skeletal issues and require intervention of specialist equipment. This type of assessment is charged at £125.00 and completed by one of our fully qualified DSE assessors at the employee’s home address. A full written report will be provided with information and justification on what changes are recommended. VEHICLE ASSESSMENT • Workspace Health provide an advanced consultation assessment to identify specific issues relating to an employee’s work vehicle. This type of assessment is charged at £250.00 and completed by one of our Chartered Physiotherapists, Occupational Health Specialists or Ergonomic Experts at an agreed date & time at the employee’s place of work or home address. A full written report will be provided with information on recommended actions. • All assessments can be booked using our referral form system to comply with GDPR Guidelines. Please email assessments@workspacehealth.com to request an assessment referral form. Our typical expectation is to carry out the required assessment within 5 working days from referral, depending on end user availability. All assessments will be followed up with a written report where stated and returned to the specified individual on the referral form within 48hrs. For charged assessments, please provide a Purchase Order Number with the initial referral form. 2
