MUIS WORK PLAN SEMINAR 2021 2020 is the second year of the 6th Muis 3-Year Plan. It was also an extraordinary year for everyone. Nonetheless, Muis has strived to provide the needs of the community, ensuring that our religious resilience remains strong while looking out for those in need to help weather the challenges of the pandemic. We extend our deepest appreciation to all stakeholders, partners, and the Muslim community in Singapore for your continued support and partnership. Together, we will emerge stronger, as we build our resilient future.

MUIS WORK PLAN SEMINAR 2021 ENSURING SUPPORT FOR THE COMMUNITY DURING COVID-19 PANDEMIC Facilitated (CMSF) 6-month auto-extension of monthly Zakat Financial Applications COVID-19 Muis Support Fund (CMSF) benefitted $157,697 5,500 households collected in support of the Courage Fund to help frontline healthcare workers as well as individuals and families adversely affected by the pandemic SGUnited Buka Puasa campaign Collaborative effort to provide 20,000 daily buka puasa meals in Ramadan to frontline healthcare workers, zakat recipients, and families-in-need Over $3 Million raised; total of 557,166 meals during Ramadan Opening of Pelita Centre (formerly known as Social Development Centre) A key resource centre for social development work within the mosque sector, in the area of capacity and capability-building Step towards elevating the services and service standards to zakat beneficiaries 9
