TERRA’s Easter Fundraising is an established program that has brought great success to several causes.
From schools to churches, sports teams and clubs, all have brought great gains to their cause. TERRA
grown Hydrangeas are the perfect choice to help you raise those funds. TERRA hydrangeas are by far the
most beautiful plants available, with a superior quality that simply isn’t found at any other retailer.

All of the plants come with a decorative pot cover.
Over several years these have proven to be the most popular plants.
Plant Delivery:
Delivery can be scheduled for your orders. Please book your delivery date and order with us 2 weeks
in advance. This will allow us to get you the best products and ensure that you get the colours that
you have requested. The most popular dates for delivery are during week of April 15th. Please contact
the fundraising representative at your preferred TERRA location with any inquiries as to delivery
charge, or available dates.
Once you receive your plants get them to the customers as quickly as possible. They should be taken
from their packaging within 12 hours. This is a great time to thank your customer. Inform them of the
success your fundraising efforts have generated for your cause.

Sales Aids:
Provided in this package are a few helpful items to get you started.
• You will be provided with a pamphlet that you can print. This will give all of the information to your
potential customers. It will allow you to put your own personal touch, and pricing into it.
• There is a sheet with selling tips and suggested sale prices.
• An order form is provided to keep track all of your orders.
• A care sheet is available for you to give your customer when delivering their plants.
Organizing A Fundraiser:
There are several things to consider when organizing a fundraiser.
Below is a suggested schedule for your planning.
Review all information. Contact TERRA with any questions. Generate
a tentative schedule for yourself. (When to have your information

Kick off meeting with the students (sales advocates). Get them
March 15th - March 30th excited! Introduce them to the “Hydrangea”, potential earnings and
rewards.
This is when you should be having fun trying to reach your goal.
March 31st -April 14th A rewards program often motivates the sales advocates. (Eg: top sales,
most customers etc.)
Order deadline. Have your orders in by this date for best selections.
April 15th
(All varieties &/or colours may not be available after this date.)
This is the most popular delivery window. Once your date is booked,
April 15th - April 19th await the delivery of your beautiful plants.
April 20th Relax; pat yourself on the back for a job well done.

In order for your group to reach their fundraising goals, TERRA offers Hydrangeas and other plants at
reduced rate to allow for you to earn a profit. Below we have listed some suggested selling prices for
you to decide on as a group. Once selling prices have been determined you can put them into your
brochures for you potential customers.

Note: Free delivery to one location on all orders over $500 within 20 km of the store.
For orders under $500 there will be a delivery charge based on delivery location. Payment is due
upon pick up or shipping. Taxes are not included in the cost pricing. Please remember to
include taxes when setting your prices. Payment options: cash, debit, credit card only. No
cheques.

Sales Tips:
• Start selling as soon as you receive your brochures
• If you have a uniform of any kind, wear it
• Relax, you will be a huge part of reaching your fundraising goal!
• Introduce yourself, talk a little bit about your group and what your goals are.
Offer a few key points about the “Hydrangeas” (available in 2 sizes).
• Show the customer the colourful brochure and let them know that it is great
quality product straight from the grower.
• Start with family & family friends. Get your confidence up, work on your sales
pitch. The lunchroom at Mom or Dad’s work is always a great spot.
• Fill out the order form completely (Name and phone # are very important)
• Gather all of your orders before the deadline, making sure that you have
received payment.
• Once you have received your product, ensure prompt pickup or delivery to
your customer

How to care for your Hydrangeas
• TERRA’s Hydrangeas are grown by TERRA and are of superior quality.
• Hydrangeas like indirect sunlight.
• Hydrangeas do not like to sit in water. When you water your plant you should
remove the pot cover and let them drain
• Hydrangeas don’t like drafts. Keep them away from the front door, heat vents,
and ceiling fans.
• Hydrangeas must be protected from the outdoors. Ensure that they are
covered when transporting them.
• You can fertilize your Hydrangea every two weeks with an all purpose
Hydrangea fertilizer.Easter
