Annual Calendar of Events Exact dates listed on dyersville.org St. Patrick’s Day Festivities - Held the Saturday on or before St. Patrick’s Day, enjoy a 8k run/2k walk, a bike ride and a parade complete with bagpipes and Irish dancers plus live music at various venues throughout the day and night. Farmers’ Market - Thursdays, May-October from 3:00-5:00pm at Commercial Club Park picnic shelter. Summer Farm Toy Show - Held the first full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) in June. Features thousands of farm toys to buy, sell & trade. Downtown Street Dance - Held one Saturday in June and one Friday in July on 1st Ave. in Downtown Dyersville from 6:30-10:00pm. Live music, food vendors, games, kiddie rides and face painting. Dyersville Downtown Markets - Held Saturdays 8:00am-noon once a month June – September in the open grass square East of Xavier School with multiple vendors, live music, food and kid-friendly activities. Independence Day Celebration - Held July 3rd at Dyersville Commercial Club Park, enjoy games, food, music and fireworks show at dusk. Dyersville Whitehawks Tournament - Semi-pro baseball tournament held at Commercial Club Park starting the last weekend of July. Ghost Saturdays - The world-famous Ghost Players take the field for the “Greatest Show on Dirt.” Held a few Saturdays in the summer at the Field of Dreams Movie Site. Free Admission. Beyond The Game, An Iowa Baseball Experience - Enjoy a variety of festivities held at multiple locations in Dyersville before, during and after the August MLB game. See more information at beyondthegameiowa.com. Annual Yankee Dirt Track Classic - Held at Farley Speedway Labor Day weekend. New Vienna Labor Day Picnic - Held at the City Park on Labor Day with food, games, music and more. NHRA/Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series - Held at Tri-State Raceway in early September. National Farm Toy Show - Known as the “Granddaddy of all toy shows” Toy Farmer’s show is the largest farm toy show in the world. Held the first full weekend in November, browse over 400 tables of farm toys for sale and tour the National Farm Toy Museum. A variety of additional events take place throughout town during this time.
