SUPPORT THAT BROADEN HORIZONS TERRITORIES Director representing the employee shareholders to the Société Générale Board of Directors The transformations we are experiencing will only lead to a better perspective on the condition that we have a genuine awareness of the common good. Large companies have a central role in this search for meaning. When asked about their raison d'être, they have this dual mission of training their teams and shareholders in a process of innovation and development. Sébastien Wetter and Emmanuelle Petelle, thanks to their independence and convictions, have the qualities to participate in this movement, stimulate this dialogue and be fully engaged in the role of administrator to which they apply. Jean-Christophe Fromantin Maire de Neuilly-sur-Seine Président d'ExpoFrance 2025 et de Territoires en Mouvement Délégué général du Forum de l'Universel Sebastien is a man committed to the service of others who combines professionalism and the intelligence of the heart. I was touched by his benevolence, his attention to others, his desire to grow his collaborators through a shared project. Sebastien knows how to train, he exudes a positive energy. He has been helping me for several years on my projects to strengthen the social bond. Undoubtedly, Sébastien is a beautiful soul. In these troubled economic and health periods, it is a chance for Societe Generale to have strong employees to make sense and stay the course! SUPPORT THAT BROADEN HORIZONS ESG Director representing the employee shareholders to the Société Générale Board of Directors I have known Sébastien Wetter since joining Société Générale in 1997. From the outset I was able to gauge his curiosity of mind and his willingness to innovate. This is how we worked together to develop a tool for a new type of measure of customer satisfaction of the bank's individuals and that of its competitors. He brought his good knowledge of marketing techniques and a high quality of execution. I was able to appreciate his intellectual curiosity when I was commissioned to launch the Group's CSR approach. He immediately understood the strategic dimension that he tried to embody consistently in the performance of his various functions. Sebastien, while being an efficient manager, possesses strong human qualities that he deploys in his professional environment and outside. His concern for the other and the community is another defining feature of his personality. Solidarity value and his concern for sharing are constants of his action. He is unquestionably qualified to serve as an administrator. I have no doubt that he would bring to it both his good knowledge of the main banking professions, his strong desire to "move the lines" combined with an undeniable human dimension. Michel Laviale Président du Club Finance de l'Observatoire de la responsabilité sociétale des entreprises (ORSE) Ancien Directeur de la Qualité et du Développement Durable du Groupe Société Générale Ancien Président de Talents & Partage, association de solidarité des salariés et des retraités du Groupe To highlight the ESG issues in the Board's decision-making criteria is to be concerned about the sustainability of Société Générale, the quality of its governance and its sustainable inclusion in its environment. It is also a guarantee of motivation for employees as 2/3 of French people seek meaning in their work. I have known Sébastien for over 20 years, I know that this program is rooted in his convictions, and in accordance with his personal commitments. I have no doubt that he will be able to put all his energy and intimate knowledge of the SG trades to bring them before the Board. Sebastien also knows how to reconcile strong convictions and great listening qualities, without which a constructive dialogue cannot be established. He is a person we can count on, and I know that he will be committed to living up to the mission that could be entrusted to him. Marie-Hélène Loison Directrice adjointe des opérations Agence Française de Développement 14
SUPPORT THAT BROADEN HORIZONS ESG Director representing the employee shareholders to the Société Générale Board of Directors I have had the chance to work with Sébastien for several years and claim to know him well. In addition to his work and his role as a family man, Sébastien has always been able to engage with strong convictions in the support of young people in order to make them grow and reveal themselves. This benevolent gardener's posture has also manifested itself in his work where his daily joy spreads in his teams. Being myself committed to the ecological transition I also appreciate the way Sebastien and Emmanuelle project themselves on the Bank of Tomorrow with a deep orientation towards the common good. Taking care of the common home that Societe Generale represents at the heart of an increasingly complex ecosystem requires a sharing of human values and a vision of integral ecology that Sébastien and Emmanuelle perfectly embody. Their in-depth knowledge of the bank combined with their ability to listen and their perseverance give them great legitimacy to join the board of directors. François-Xavier Saint-Macary Président de Grand Sud Terre d’Economies d’Energie et d’Ingénésis Since our meeting at the French Finance Analysts' Society at the beginning of our financial career in Paris, Emmanuelle has demonstrated his ability to understand the workings of financial markets and the responsibility of a large bank like Société Générale to build the finance of tomorrow. More importantly, its ability to understand the long-term trends that are transforming bankers' lives, starting with innovation, energy transition, artificial intelligence, automation and uberisation, is critical in this transition. Emmanuelle believes that a company's mission is to encompass all players, starting with those who run the bank, with therefore the need to engage the board of directors in the development of employees and in their diversity, towards a sharing of fair value, complex subjects that it has already had to address. Emmanuelle will be able to make the voice of employee shareholders heard on the board. Nathalie Wallace Head ESG Strategy and Development, Mirova 15
SUPPORT THAT BROADEN HORIZONS Justice Director representing the employee shareholders to the Société Générale Board of Directors Now retired but still very attached to the Societe Generale Group and attentive to its evolution, I support the candidacy of Sébastien who has both a capacity to listen and a pragmatic approach to the subjects, last but not least the human dimension necessary to represent us on the board of directors of our House. Frédéric Geoffroy Juge au tribunal de commerce de Paris Ancien responsable mondial de l'audit de Société Générale CIB I've known Sebastien for over 20 years. The long friendship that unites us has allowed me to discover and admire in him exceptional qualities. Three of them, in my opinion, deserve to be particularly highlighted here; - Loyalty first of all: loyalty to one's family of course. Loyalty to family and friends afterwards, even to those who sometimes walk away. Loyalty at last to what he knows right and true. From this fidelity comes his sense of commitment, which irrigates all dimensions of his personal, spiritual and professional life. - Perseverance: Sebastian never gives up and never falters or doubts. Inhabited by the certainty that small streams always make the great rivers, that work always ends up paying, that truth necessarily trumps lies, he walks constantly and almost always ends up reaching his goal. - The sense of listening and dialogue: The very strong convictions that inhabit Sébastien have never prevented him from keeping his eyes, ears and heart open to the world around him, in order to create the conditions for a sincere and respectful dialogue. It is an invaluable quality for leading projects and bringing together a motivated team. If I have never worked alongside him, I know Sébastien's sincere passion for his company and the altruism that guides his approach. I have no doubt that he will be able to live up to the new mission that I hope will be entrusted to him. Alexandre de Bosschère Procureur de la République d'Amiens 16

Sebastien has provided continuity at top level and skillfully adapted the structures and processes for running the team in an exemplary way. In addition, Sebastien has provided guidance on topics even outside the typical COO areas to steer us towards our strategic goals. During this time, his decisions have shown that his extensive experience from various parts of the bank has given him a deep understanding of how SG can deliver value to its clients while balancing risks and controlling costs. I was struck by his integrity, his open-mindedness, the depth of his reflection, his relational simplicity. I was also impressed by his eagerness to explore the levers of the dual human and strategic purpose of sustainable and resilient organizations. Together we share this conviction: Man is not only a means but also a goal in the organizations that last. Christophe Le Buhan Président de Toscane & Cie. 21
SUPPORT THAT BROADEN HORIZONS Teaching & Research Director representing the employee shareholders to the Société Générale Board of Directors The candidacy of Sébastien Wetter and Emmanuelle Petelle as directors representing salaried shareholders is in perfect harmony with the principle of governance advocated by the French Institute of Corporate Governance: there is no responsible governance without shared responsibility. Sébastien and Emmanuelle show a great sense of responsibility, both as employees and as shareholders, but also a concern for the common good for both the company and the company. This is the profile of directors that companies need, 1) driven by convictions, 2) with a serious and thoughtful knowledge of the business and economic issues of the company and 3) sensitive to the balance between its stakeholders. Societe Generale's board of directors will undoubtedly benefit from their contributions. That is why I am happy to support their candidacy. Pierre-Yves Gomez Directeur de l’Institut français de Gouvernement des Entreprises (IFGE) Professeur de stratégie EMLyon Business School - Administrateur de sociétés Sébastien Wetter is both a man of speech and listening, demonstrating by a beautiful ability to dialogue, an attention to the problems of others and a fine understanding of the situations of organizations and people. It also enjoys a real sense of responsibility and remarkable availability. I have also seen in him a very well-adjusted concern for the common good. Laurent Landete Directeur Général du Collège des Bernardins I met Sébastien more than 20 years ago, we worked together at Societe Generale. At the time he was a professional colleague, rigorous, conscientious, reliable and trustworthy. He always had a nice and thoughtful word for everyone. Today he is a dear friend: a straight, honest, committed, dedicated person as we meet few of them. A man of convictions and responsibilities. I have no doubt that Sébastien will be able to play his full role on the board of directors of Société Générale. Aware of the complex environmental, social and ethical issues facing our time, he will be able to navigate by keeping the course of a performance that makes sense for the common good. SUPPORT THAT BROADEN HORIZONS Teaching & Research Director representing the employee shareholders to the Société Générale Board of Directors To contribute effectively to a board of directors, of course, you need a solid knowledge of the sector and the company, but also many other qualities. Discretion, first of all, to make the part of the essential and the accessory. Critical thinking, then, so as not to fall into the traps of conformism and self-esteem. Independence of mind, too, to be force of proposal. Human qualities and interaction, finally, without which the best-informed voice does not carry. Having had the chance to know Emmanuelle Pételle for more than twenty years, I know that she possesses these qualities to the highest extent, and many others. I am convinced that she will be an excellent director for Societe Generale. Olivier Sibony Professeur de stratégie et auteur I had the pleasure of working with Emmanuelle Petelle at Deutsche Bank. Her open-mindedness, empathetic professionalism, demanding analytical mind and long-term vision taking into account the complexity of factors and the overall potential impacts are for the teams with whom she interacts as an invaluable source of development and, for her company, a tremendous asset. A lover of the arts or personally invested in humanitarian missions, Emmanuelle is one of the few people who make a mark on the lives of those who have the pleasure of walking with her. It will be an asset to societe generale's Board of Directors. Nathalie Columelli Fondatrice de Finance Training et Directrice Générale de CFA Society France I had the opportunity to discuss many topics with Emmanuelle Pételle for more than ten years, during which time I set up and directed the Saint Exupéry Institute for Technological Research, which brings together the major French aeronautics and space players. In addition to being open-minded, she impressed me with her ability to address in depth the industrial and commercial issues of the aviation sector in a context of strong international competition in both an operational and strategic vision. His interest in technological developments, in particular digital and artificial intelligence, and his ability to understand them and anticipate societal and business transformations - both in internal organization and in the evolution of the customer relationship - also demonstrate his ability to co-build the future of a large group like Societe Generale. SUPPORT THAT BROADEN HORIZONS Teaching & Research Director representing the employee shareholders to the Société Générale Board of Directors In my nearly three decades at Harvard Business School, meeting and writing about top managers, I have rarely met leaders like Ms. Petelle. She combines remarkable personal and professional qualities. We met when she decided of her own free will to strengthen her knowledge in management, strategy, and innovation by pursuing our flagship executive education program, General Management Program. We are proud to count her among our “alumni.” She remains active within the international network and close to our research. We have also a converging interest in the centrality of human capital in a company, and therefore in favor of more inclusive governance of a social body within the board of directors. Dean John Quelch, University of Miami, and I greatly benefited from her insights and contacts to our book on Compassionate Management of Mental Health in the Modern Workplace. Today, this topic of well-being and mental health in the workplace is of strategic importance in any organization around the world today. Organizations need leaders like her who navigated through the Covid crisis with stability and optimism, but also with a realistic vision of the profound transformations that the pandemic has caused – and the opportunities it provides to do things better. I hope that the Board will have the opportunity to benefit from the support of Ms. Petelle, whose expertise in banking and financial markets, her commitment to representing employees, and her global, multi-sectorial network will be invaluable.
