Infrastructure & Economic Growth Coastal Gas Link Pipeline Project Site C Clean Energy Project The 670 KM pipeline will safely deliver natural gas from the Fort St. John area to the LNG Canada facility near Kitimat, B.C. The Site C Clean Energy Project (Site C) will be a third dam and hydroelectric generating station As of October 2020, the company reported 21% of pipe installed in the project’s first spread, with a planned in-service date on the Peace River in northeast B.C. The project is being built to meet long-term electricity needs of 2023. The $6.6 billion project is a key piece of infrastructure for LNG Canada and is to provide up to 2,500 high-quality in B.C., and will provide clean, reliable, and affordable electricity for more than 100 years. The jobs during construction over $1B in employment and contracting opportunities. Site C Dam will be the largest construction project in the history of B.C., with its construction and operation generating economic benefits for British Columbians through job creation, economic development and increased revenues.
