DESI combines real-time micro-scale solvent extraction in fast moving droplets with electrospray ionization (ESI) to achieve high throughput sample introduction for mass spectrometry without sample preparation. Manual and 1-D systems can accommodate standard 76mm x 26mm TLC plates while the DESI 2-D system can accept samples of a larger footprint, including two (2) 5cm x 5cm HPTLC plates. TLC/DESI-MS of Cannabinoids Pharmaceutical Tablets DESI is uniquely suited for the direct tablet analysis using mass spectrometry due to its non-destructive nature and imaging capability while the sample is situated outside the vacuum of the mass spectrometer. FireFly™ Data Conversion Software DESI Ion Source users now have the capability to convert their large data sets into file formats compatible with third party software using FireFly™ data conversion software. FireFly is compatible with Thermo Scientific, Bruker, LECO, Waters and AB Sciex data acquisition systems. FireFly is a software program that extracts and builds data sets from data systems data conversion algorithms into file formats compatible with BioMAP, a third party image visualization and processing software program.
