MISSION u 2021 Although the Deans and Assistant Deans decided, by consensus, to hold Mission u 2021 virtually due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we are committed to doing our best in providing a meaningful learning and growing experience in 2021. We make this commitment not only to the Dakotas Conference UMW members, but for all that will have access to these studies. The good news is that we will be able to expose so many more to a taste of Mission u! Mission u 2021 is still in the planning stages. We know that it will look different, but the details aren’t there yet. What we do know is that we will be offering the following classes in one form or another. They are: Bearing Witness in the Kin-dom: Living Into the Church’s Moral Witness Through Radical Discipleship. Instructor: Pastor Michelle Brennan Pushout: The Criminalization of Black Girls. Instructor: TBA Finding Peace in an Anxious World. Instructor: Pastor Michelle Brennan. (We will be using the study that Pastor Michelle prepared for last Spring.) We’re excited about this new opportunity, and we will let you know as the details fall into place. Your 2021 Mission u Dean Team- Mission u Deans/Assistant Deans: (L to R) Bonnie Ostenson, northern site assistant dean; Cindy Yeager, northern site dean; Connie Smith, southern site assistant dean; Emma McKirdy- Wilsey, southern site dean.
