Situation Summary MMWR Week 40 (10/03/2021-10/09/2021) A total of 21,918 positive COVID-19 cases have been reported among Coconino County residents from March 15, 2020 – October 9, 2021. Deaths: 337 (1.5% of cases) Probable Deaths: 5 Recovered Cases: 20,054 (91% of cases) Hospitalizations: 1,596 (7.3% of cases) Total Fully Vaccinated: 72,350 (59.2% of the eligible population) Cases Reported Week 40 (October 3, 2021 - October 9, 2021): 353 74% 249.5 6.8% Positive Not Fully Rate per Positivity Cases Vaccinated 100,000 Yield Community Transmission • Coconino County has a current incidence rate of 249.5 per 100,000, percent positivity of 6.8%, and COVID-19-Like-Illness incidence (CLI) of 6.4%*. • Coconino County is currently at a High ** level of community transmission. Key Take Away • Page experienced the largest increase in cases from the previous week with an 93% increase. • The lowest cumulative percentage of the population fully vaccinated was observed in Williams. Investigations: The investigations team interviews Coconino County Residents that test positive for COVID-19. Investigations completed 9,271 Monitoring: The monitoring team contacts confirmed cases/people exposed to confirmed cases to monitor for symptoms, identify needs, and provides assistance as requested. • Currently being monitored: 119 (As of 10/9/2021) • Total individuals monitored to date: 9,142 *Cases reported from 3/15/20-10/9/21 8
