WELCOME The Organic Centre’s work for 2021, is all about supporting you, your family, school and community to get involved in organic growing and action against climate change. This work is vital and our courses for the SPECIALISTS IN year reflect the need to do more about climate change and give as much support as we can to anyone who wants to learn more and get involved. ORGANIC FARM & GARDEN SUPPLIES Our focus has always been local communities, sustainability, biodiversity, and taking care of the soil and its plants. But we also need to campaign for change at policy level and we need you to do this. Our hope for 2021 is that you will continue your work with us, growing together and working to protect our natural environment. One of the first things we are doing for 2021 is changing our membership offer to you and we hope that this will encourage more people to join us. We have also reconfigured some of our courses, and in the light of the Covid 19 pandemic we will be maintaining extra safety measures throughout the site and for all of our weekend courses in 2021. Numbers for weekend courses will be limited to 15 per course (subject to Government restrictions) and sessions will be focused on outdoor work, all our onsite courses will have your health and safety in mind. Alongside traditional onsite courses, we have introduced some new online courses for anyone who prefers this option; and we hope you find a course that suits your needs, if you have suggestions for other courses please get in touch. We have made visiting the centre even easier and will be offering free entry to everyone throughout 2021 in the hope that this encourages you to come for a visit, and make time to relax in our gardens. You can stroll at your leisure, gather your thoughts and take one of our new tours, which include bug hunts and butterfly trails and enjoy the wonders of nature. We have introduced new products in our onsite shop, which is open 7 days a week, and we have everything you need including gardening equipment, compost, seeds and an abundance of organic food. We have increased our stock of hand-made local crafts, so you can treat yourself Organic Blight Resistant Seed Potatoes, or someone special. Our friendly staff team is on hand to answer any Onion Sets, Organic Composts, questions you may have and the gardens demonstrate practical tips to help you grow your own and get the most out of your garden.
