Currumbin Valley, Gold Coast, Australia Envirotech is developing a rainforest campus. The botanical diversity, Currumbin Creek and Currumbin Rock Pools waterfront. Envirotech Rainforest sustainability campus will be a site for delivery of holistic range of Environmental Management and Sustainability qualifications. Utila, Honduras Utila is one of the Bay Islands of Honduras, in the Caribbean Islands, known for its coral reefs and many diving sites. The Envirotech Research Team maintain a Field Station that is dedicated to preserving and restoring marine habitat and protecting endangered marine life by creating coral nurseries and training marine habitat trainers in the studies of Marine Habitat Conservation and Restoration. 485 Graduate Visa Graduate Work Stream 1. What is this visa for? 1.1. This visa purpose is to provide students that may be able to apply for skills independent but may not have enough English or work experience to apply. 1.2. You must complete your study and nominated occupation must be closely related and this must be demonstrated in the genuine temporary entrant requirement for the Student Visa application. 1.3. Level 1 Occupations may require you to have previous bachelor degree in your ÿeld. 2. What can I do with this visa? 2.1. With this visa you can stay in Australia, usually for 18 months, travel, work or study in Australia during your stay 2.2. The Temporary Graduate Visa Subclass 485 does NOT have any study or work restrictions; 2.3. Visa in efect for 18 months from the grant date. 3. Who should apply? 3.1. Student Visa holders that graduated from their course and have the skills necessary to perform in their nominated occupation; 3.2. Visa applicants have studied at least 2 academic years or 16 months (Equivalent to 92 weeks or more) in Australia in a registered CRICOS course. 3.3. Studies must result in a degree, diploma or trade qualification. 3.4. Envirotech students may apply under the Graduate work stream 4. Eligibility 4.1. Eligible skilled occupation speciÿed (MTSSL) with a positive Skill assessment 4.2. The study and nominated occupation must be closely related, e.g.: a. Environmental consultant – Diploma of Sustainable Operations b. Chef – Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery/ Advanced Diploma of Hospitality c. Childcare Centre Manager – Certificate III + Diploma of Early Childhood Education 4.3. The holder of a student visa; 4.4. Recently graduated; 4.5. Skills assessment 4.6. Age under 50; 4.7. English – IELTS overall 6, minimum 5 in each component (Or equivalent); 4.8. AFP (Australian Federal Police National Police)Check provide upon application; 4.9. 2018 Excellence Awards International Ocean Day in Brazil Envirotech Education presented on international Ocean day in Brazil and also took part as panellists in the opening of the Blue Economy project, powered by the World Bank. The forum was an outstanding opportunity to endorse the validity of our extensive efforts with this VET reform, we received the only MOU signed on this day. Envirotech Education wins Gold Coast Excellence Mayor's Innovation Award Envirotech Team received the Gold Coast Mayor's Innovation Award at the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards July 2018. Envirotech was the only training organisation to be honoured at the event. 2017 Excellence Awards Envirotech’s student wins International Education & Training (IET) VET Students of the Year Award Gold Coast based Envirotech Education student, Simon Witt, won the Queensland International Education & Training (IET) VET Student of the Year Award. This is recognition of not only Mr. Witt’s efforts but also the great education opportunities provided by the Gold Coast’s exciting Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. General Entry Requirements English Language Literacy Proof of minimum English level testing score suited to the correct level of study. Envirotech English placement test is available for applicants from countries of low migration risk. Students with a lower level of English proficiency will be offered to enrol into our ELICOS course to improve their English level and develop professional English communications skills. Laptop Computer It is a condition of your enrolment that you have a suitable laptop computer to begin your course (standard courses: a suitable laptop with Microsoft 2010. Students who arrive to induction without a laptop, will be provided with a payment plan for the purchase of a computer during the induction for the best market price suitable laptop.
