AIR FORCE ASSOCIATION Welcome to the Air Force Association’s 2022 AFA Warfare Symposium On behalf of over 100,000 members of the Air Force Association, welcome to your 2022 AFA Warfare Symposium! This year’s theme is “Air and Space Power: Indispensable to Deter, Fight, and Win,” and the focus is the convergence between our forward combatant commands, our operational force providers, and the policy makers that work behind the scenes to develop new capabilities for tomorrow’s warfighters. This year’s symposium is bigger than in the past, with more sessions, more speakers, and a packed exhibit floor. Every session will be recorded, so if you find yourself choosing between two or three compelling topics, don’t worry. You can watch one live and the others later on. We urge you to take advantage of the incredible networking opportunities during the day and also at evening receptions, and to take the time to explore the exhibit hall, packed with informative and eye-opening displays. We’ve got a great lineup of speakers and the excitement of the Spark Tank Finals, where bright, innovative Airmen and Guardians compete for recognition and funding before a live audience. Air and Space power are indispensable to fighting and winning in every domain and every corner of the globe. Ensuring dominant U.S. Air and Space Forces remain the foundation of our strong National Defense is at the heart of AFA’s mission. To advocate for air and space power, we educate the public—including Congress—and we honor and support Airmen, Guardians, and their families, while always recalling our enduring heritage. Join us in this essential mission. If you’re not already an AFA member, become one today! Sincerely, Gerald R. Murray Bruce "Orville" Wright Chairman of the Board President P.S. We hope you enjoy the AFA Warfare Symposium and that you will join us again next year when this event moves to Denver in 2023. 2
