A pug named Winston is the first known case of a dog with coronavirus in the U.S. A family in Chapel Hill, North Carolina tested positive for the virus, then they started noticing their dog was acting funny – gagging and not eating his food. So they had him tested, and sure enough – Winston was positive. Mom Heather McClean tells Inside Edition it was a stressful time, but everyone--including the pug--is now feeling better. The CDC has set some new guidelines for pet owners. They advise you treat pets like any other family member. Do not let pets interact with people or other animals outside the house. Walk dogs on a leash, maintaining social distance of at least six feet from others. Avoid dog parks. Wash your hands before and after interacting with your pet. And if you are sick, do not pet them, snuggle or share a bed. OUTCUE: unusual. Dr. Fauci says Pitt did a great job getting his voice and hand gestures right, but still has work to do when it comes to the Brooklyn accent. At first, the arcade was offering beer to go. But then when the owner brought a pinball machine to his friend's house, the friend suggested he rent out his machines to anyone who wants one. Now people are choosing to spend their quarantine renting out pinball machines along with other arcade games. The owner Robert Leonard says he can't believe how well the idea has worked, and that he makes sure to wipe down all the machines thoroughly between rentals. Dr. Benji Salter said he thought it would be best to have his son stay at his in-law's house to avoid exposing him to the virus. Dr. Salter said he had to read bedtime stories to his son over FaceTime and it was extremely difficult to handle. But finally, he brought his son back into his own apartment where they hugged each other after being reunited.
Dr. Salter also says as soon as he gets home from work, he takes off his scrubs and hops in the shower in order to help prevent his wife and son from getting exposed. A union for flight attendants is calling on the federal government to require everyone who flies — including airline crew members and passengers — to wear face masks in order to protect employees and stop the spread of the coronavirus. This comes after a video went viral of an American Airlines flight packed full of people wearing no protective gear. Passenger Erin Strine, who posted the video, tells ‘Inside Edition’ she didn’t feel safe on the flight from New York to Charlotte. Airlines like Frontier and United already require flight attendants to wear face masks while on-duty. American and Delta recently announced similar mandates. But none extend to customers. Only JetBlue, as of Monday, requires both crew members and customers to wear face coverings during travel. OUTCUE: silently. The state is floating the idea of starting the next school year this summer to help kids catch up on material they missed out on during lockdown. But two California mothers support the idea, with one saying the students are out of place being home all this time, and the other saying she hopes they can work out a way to make it happen. He says his mother lived for just 4 more months after receiving two pints of blood -- but it allowed her to remain alive for one more holiday season. That term refers to an anti-government group. In a an interview, Rohrwasser said he did not know that. He
says he will be getting the tattoo removed and apologized to his family for them having to come to his defense. He shared the news in an article for The Player's Tribune. Mancini had surgery to remove a tumor early in Spring Training and doctors assumed he had celiac's disease. But it turns out it was colon cancer. Mancini started chemotherapy earlier this month and will have to continue that treatment for at least six more months. When he had the tumor removed in March, Mancini posted a video on Instagram thanking fans for their well wishes. Mancini had his best year in the big leagues in 2019 smashing 35 homeruns and driving in 97 runs. It earned him a contract extension worth nearly 5-million dollars. This year's baseball season continues to be suspended and an official start date has yet to be announced.
