Welcome Message from the Organizers...
Dear colleagues
Greetings from the Orange city !
AMASICON 2019 is being organised at Nagpur from November 7th to 10th 2019 for the first time in
Central India. We, the members of AMASI & ASI have decided to turn this 14th International
conference into a highly academic & cultural mega event. It is our privilege to welcome you all to this
City of Oranges – Nagpur.
The venue for the congress is recently built & very comfortable “Suresh Bhat Auditorium” with seating
capacity of more than 2000 person in the plenary hall. This year we are trying to have the live
workshops in all the sub-specialties including Minimal Access surgery for Pediatrics, Gynaecology,
Bariatric sugary, HPB, Colorectal, Solid organ & of course Robotic surgery.
We are also planning to have dedicated Anesthesia stations and live workshop sessions for
anesthesia in Robotic, Bariatric, Minimally Access Laparoscopic surgeries. Two days CME and live
workshops will be conducted in the presence of eminent faculties and noted speakers who have
mastered the art over the years of experience. Live surgeries shall be performed and relayed from
the nearby “7 star Hospital” which will provide their 10 High-class operating rooms. The hospital is
well equipped & meets all requirements to perform safe surgery.
We are waiting to extend a grand welcome to all the participants. Nagpur city and its people are
known for their hospitality, spicy food & tasty oranges. Amasicon 2019 will also offer the innovative live
workshops, hotly debated topics as the debates, Orations, invited lectures by National & International
faculties. Posters, free paper sessions, with more than 15 bursary awards to attract post graduate
students.
We are sure that this congress shall set new benchmarks in academics, live surgical workshop,
cultural programs & of course gastronomy.
We are waiting to welcome you all in November 2019 at Nagpur.

- Nagpur is Internationally connected with Daily to & fro flights, operated by Qatar Airways & Air Arabia.

during the celebration of Dhammachakra Pravartan Din.
- Central India Spinning and Weaving Company Ltd. was the country’s first textile mill started by the famous
industrialist Jamshedji Tata.
- The Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facility constructed at Nagpur by Boeing as part of MIHAN is only the
second such facility in the world, after Shanghai.
- The Multi-modal International Cargo Hub and Airport at Nagpur (MIHAN). It is the biggest economical
development project currently underway in India in terms of investments.
- Nagpur is Headquarter of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS) and Hedgewar Memorial is just beside the
conference Venue.

By Rail :
Being Centrally located, Nagpur is the busiest railway station on the Howrah-Mumbai & Delhi-Chennai gateways. Nagpur
has Electrified broad gauge railway track that connects Nagpur to all major cities and villages of India. Nagpur station
serves daily 230 trains and 1,60,000 passengers approximately.
By Road:
Bombay Calcutta NH-6 and Kanyakumari Varanasi NH-7 pass through the city. This city is well connected by road with major
cities and villages in and out the state of Maharashtra.

with seating capacity of more than 2000 person in the plenary hall. Located at a distance of 2kms from
the Bus Stand. 4.5kms from Railway station & 6.5 kms from the Nagpur Airport.
The Auditorium and its surroundings are very well equipped to host a mega event like Amasicon-2019.
In 2018, National Pediatric Conference of IAP was conducted here with approx. 8000 delegates attending.

Temperature :
Average Day time high temperature is around 30.5 degree Celsius and average Night time temperature is
around 15.2 degree Celsius.
Humidity :
Average Humidity ranges from 30 - 55 % during the day time. Nights are usually pleasantly cold.

1- Conference registration is mandatory to attend all scientific sessions.
2- Accompany person and children will not be allowed in scientific sessions.
3- Children 5 years and above age have to be registered as accompanying person.
4- Children below 5 years of age will also have to be registered (free of charges) for logistic and
security reason.
5- Cancellation and refund as per terms and conditions will be done after 3 months of the conference
date.
6- PG students should submit bonafide certificate from HoD / Institute along with Registration form.
7- Please produce your Registration number / confirmation number / payment details at the
Registration counter.
8- Please wear the conference badge all the time during the conference for security reason.
9- No entry is allowed without badge at th venue.
