TAKE HOME MESSAGE All the biological processes tested have shown great potential for nitrogen and colour removal The integration of two or more processes leads to more efficient performance Microalgal biomass grown on textile wastewater is a good source of natural pigments, that can be exploited in the textile production chain or in other biotechnological industries.
