Open Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 6pm.
Tasting hours: From 10am to 11:30am
From 2:30pm to 5pm
Our three sommeliers Emilie, Anthony and Baptiste will welcome you with great pleasure and be delighted to
share with you their passion for the wine, in a warm and friendly environment at the heart of the Estate.
They will help you discover our prestigious Domaine’s wines.
You will have the choice between 3 different tastings.
Our sommeliers will propose you a personalized selection of wines according to your wishes. Each wine will be
presented to you during the tasting.
The wines you taste are available at the wine shop. You can take away or ship abroad a single bottle or a
combination of several designations.
Emilie, Anthony and Baptiste will give you an unforgettable memory by showing you the beautiful vineyard of
« Le Clos des Meix » (Monopole Corton Grand Cru), the Estate and bring you down to the 13th century cellar
built by the Dominican monks.

Feeling a bit peckish?
If you want to enhance your tasting with some regional appetizers:
Cheese, cheese puffs, cured ham with garlic and parsley jelly (jambon persillé), spice bread… do not hesitate to
ask our sommeliers.
Side dishes will be charged as an extra cost. Please consult us.
The « Clos des Meix » and the 13th Century Cellar
To change your scenery our sommeliers will take you on a tour through a centuries-old heritage.
The Clos des Meix, monopoly of the Domain is one of the grands crus of the Corton hill.
It covers an area of 2,5 ha and reigns majestically over the estate. The Clos de Meix offers a
breathtaking view of the Pernand-Vergelesses and Savigny-les-Beaune vineyards.
Under the Domaine gardens lies one of the oldest cellars in Burgundy, which dates back to the 13th century
and has been built by the Dominican monks. You will discover an exceptional place decorated
with one-hundred-year-old vaults that was the stage for many adventures throughout the centuries.

I. PRACTICAL DETAILS
a) Opening hours
- Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10AM to 6PM.From February to mid-December.
- Tasting schedule: Morning: 10AM, 10:30AM, 11AM, 11:30AM
Afternoon: 3PM, 3:30PM, 4PM, 4:30PM
Due to the fact that our sommeliers are busy at the Table d’Hôtes and in order to welcome you under the
best possible conditions, no tasting or visit can be arranged between 11:30AM and 2:30PM.
However, The Tasting Cellar (shop) stays open between 10AM and 6PM, since it is situated right next to the
Table d’Hôtes.
a) Accommodation capacity
- The Tasting Cellar can accommodate up to 14 people max.
You will be seated around a round table. Our cellar is heated and air conditioned.
- The Cellar has a small VIP space, for max. 7 guests (see photo one the right-hand side p.2).
- Caution: Limited access for people who are mobility impaired. Disabled accessibility works are in progress.
Beyond 15 guests, the wine tastings solely take place in the 13th Century Cellar with a maximal capacity of
25 guests.
- The 13th Century Cellar has a natural temperature of approximately 14°C all year long. Dress accordingly.
- Caution: Mobility impaired people have limited access to the 13th Century Cellar due to the stairs (15 steps) at
the entry. Disabled accessibility works are in progress.
a) Further details
- Spoken languages: French, English.
- WIFI is solely available at the Tasting Cellar and the VIP space.
- Pets are admitted in our pet-friendly estate.
- The fees can't be combined with those of the Table d'Hôtes.
- Only appetizers can be served during the tasting. Meals aren't served in the Cellar.
- If you have a tasting lunch at the Table d’Hôtes, we strongly recommend you taste the wines during the
meal according to the proposed formulas, and not before in the Tasting Cellar - Shop.
- If you want nevertheless to have a tasting before the lunch, you will have anadditional charge according to
the indicated prices.
- Please note that the free tasting at the Cellar does not apply if you are taking a lunch at the Table d’Hôtes.
- For groups from 1 to 14 people, the following visits are not included in the wine tasting package: vines in
Monopole, Corton Grand Cru « Le Clos des Meix » and the ancient 13th Century.
It is however possible to visit them with an appointment at the Tasting Cellar, at rates indicated.
Visits without appointment can only be arranged with our sommeliers and depend on their availability.
- Since the Domaine Senard is a private property, visitors must be accompanied by one of our sommeliers. No
free visits on the Property.
- If you want to make a gift to your loved ones, we propose gift coupons for tastings in the Cellar, lunches at the
Table d’Hôtes or wine purchase vouchers.

I. CONCEPT
The Wine Tasting in the Cellar is a simple wine tasting of the Domaine's wines exclusively.
For the Tastings, you can choose between our different formulas which all include the presentation and
expertise of our sommeliers.
Visit of the Property is not included in our tasting fees.
Our visit fees are the followings:
€5/pers. if the visit is followed by a tasting of 4 or 6 great vintage (grands crus)
If you do not wish to taste our wines or choose the 2 offered wine tasting option:
€12.- Starting price (or price for the 1st person)
€6.- Price for each additional person
Ex: For 4 people visiting the Property without tasting the wines, the total price would be: €30.-
a) Tasting fees
3 tasting formulas are offered:
They are calculated on a degressive basis. The more people taste the wine, the less expensive are the fees.
2 Wines: 1 regional, 1 village Offered
Offer limited to 5 people max.
4 Wines: 1 regional, 1 village, 1 premier cru and 1 grand cru (1 white and 3 reds)
Starting price (or price for the 1st person): €28.- (+ €5.- if followed by a visit)
Price for each additional person: €10.- (+ €5.- if followed by a visit)
Ex: For 3 people visiting the Property and choosing the 4 wines formula, the total price would be: € 63.- (€21.-/pers.).
For a total purchase of wine of €63.- for the entire group, the visit and the wine tasting would be free.
5 grands crus: Tasting of 5 different Corton Grand Crus (5 reds and 1 white)
Starting price (or price for the 1st person): €63.- (+ €5.- if followed by a visit)
Price for each additional person: €10.- (+ €5.- if followed by a visit)
Ex: For 5 people visiting the Property and choosing the 5 grands crus formula, the total price would be: € 168.- (€33.-
/pers.).
For a total purchase of wine of €168.- for the entire group, the visit and the wine tasting would be free.

The Tasting Cellar – Shop
The wines you taste in the Cellar are Domaine's wines exclusively with more red wines than white wines.
Our sommeliers preselect the wines you taste.
Depending on the stock available, we try to best alternate young and old vintage.
We remain at your disposal should you have any particular wish or request.
The fees can't be combined with those of the Table d'Hôtes.
The wine tastings included in our fees is 3.5 cl per tasting glass / per designation
In case of changes in the initial tasting package (tasting quantity, type of wines, preferences for more
white or red wines, etc.), the tasting price will be revaluated.
The visit and tasting duration (meal + tasting and tour of the Property) can vary depending on the
number of person and on the wine formula chosen.
b) Appetizers
Some local appetizers (cured ham dices, cheese, cheese puffs, etc.) can be served during our tasting fomulas
with an extra cost.
The appetizers list can be provided upon request.
c) The tour
- Visits of the vines in Monopole, Corton Grand Cru « Le Clos des Meix » and of the ancient 13th
Century
The 13th Century Cellar is generally proposed to be visited first, before the tasting.
The tour is possible upon request and is booked at the time of the reservation.
The duration of the visit is between 15 and 20 minutes for individuals and groups until 15 people.
And approximately 20 to 30 minutes for a group of more than 15 people.
This duration must be added to the tasting duration.
- The 13th Century Cellar has a natural temperature of approximately 14°C all year long. Dress accordingly.
Caution: Mobility impaired people have limited access to the 13th Century Cellar due to the stairs (15 steps)
at the entry. Disabled accessibility works are in progress.
- Since the Domaine Senard is a private property, visitors must be accompanied by one of our sommeliers.

II. CONDITIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS AND GROUPS
1. Booking for 1 to 5 people and for groups from 6 until 14 people
- From 1 to 5 people, pre-booking is not mandatory but highly recommended.
(People with pre-booking will be given the priority over people without.)
- From 6 people, booking should be done by e-mail or by phone.
- The tasting formulas can be chosen directly in the Cellar or at the moment of booking.
- Tastings take place in the Cellar and can take between 20 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the
number of people in the group and the tasting formula chosen.
- If you wish to include a tour to your tasting, please advise us at the moment of booking. The
duration of the visit is between 20 and 30 minutes. This duration must be added to the tasting duration.
- For your convenience, we recommend you expect a 10-15 minutes delay for letting you time to buy
some of the products after the tasting.
- The total duration should be between 1:00 to 1:45 for the whole service (visit, tasting, shopping).
- If you would like to enhance the tasting with some appetizers (cheese, cheese puffs, cured ham,
gingerbread…) please let us know when you are booking.
- Please also let us know if you have a schedule imperative.
a) Prices and Conditions
- The tasting formulas can be selected between the formulas listed above (P.3) or created upon request and
according to your wishes by our sommeliers.
- Each offer is calculated precisely and accurately depending on the tasting formula chosen and on the
number of people. Our fees are calculated on a degressive basis.
For this very reason, we must know the total number of people doing the wine tasting prior to your
arrival.
- For people from the tourism industry, we make a difference between travel guides and drivers and the
other regular clients.
b) What is included
- Free tasting for all purchases over the total cost of the tasting
- Free tasting for people from the tourism industry who come as guides or drivers
c) Confirmations, Changes or Cancellations
- Booking will be definitive after the following steps:
o We have collected all the necessary information about you.
o You have received a final e-mail confirmation from us.
- Any changes, even last-minutes ones (ex: number of people attending, changes in the chosen tasting
formula, extra appetizers, etc.) must be communicated.
- As a result, if need be, these changes can be subject to a price revaluation for the tasting.
- In the event of a total cancellation, no fee will be charged. However, we would really appreciate if
you could let us know as soon as you can if must cancel your visit to our Domaine.
- From 6 people, you will be asked to let a deposit for eventual appetizers during your tasting. This deposit
will be cashed in the event of a cancellation on the day of the visit.

3. Groups from 15 to 25 guests max.
- Upon 15 people, pre-booking by e-mail is mandatory.
- The tastings take place in the 13th Century Wine Cellar and last between 1:00 and 1:30, depending
on the number of people in the group and the tasting formula chosen.
- IMPORTANT: Please note that the 13th Century Cellar is a private location.
The wines stored in the Cellar (bottles, magnums…) form the private and personal reserve of the
Senard Family.
On no account is this collection intended for sale or at the disposal of clients even if the Cellar
has been rent.
- Besides, tastings in the 13th Century Cellar require the presence of our sommeliers.
- It is highly recommended to choose the formula you want at the moment of the booking.
- The tour of the Clos des Meix, Monopole du Domaine vine precedes the tasting.
This visit is automatically included in the tasting and last from 20 to 30 minutes.
This duration must be added to the tasting duration.
- For your convenience, we recommend you expect a 15 minutes delay for letting you time to buy some
of the products after the tasting.
- The total duration should be between 2:00 to 2:30 for the whole service (visit, tasting, shopping).
- If you would like to enhance the tasting with some appetizers (cheese, cheese puffs, cured ham,
gingerbread…) please let us know when you are booking.
- Please also let us know if you have a schedule imperative.
a) Prices and Conditions
- For a simple tasting, only the private premises of the 13th Century Cellar can host large groups.
Therefore, in case of a binding confirmation, a deposit of €100.- (logistics and cellar privatization
costs) will be asked, 1 week prior to the day of your visit.
This deposit will definitively validate your booking.
Please take note that the amount of this deposit is independent of the amount of your tasting.
Thus, this deposit will be considered as a non-refundable and non-deductible deposit and will be
cashed in any case.
- The tasting formulas can be selected between the formulas listed above (P.3) or created upon request and
according to your wishes by our sommeliers.
- Each offer is calculated precisely and accurately depending on the tasting formula chosen and on the
number of people. Our fees are calculated on a degressive basis.

b) What is included
- Following the tasting:
o If several wines have been purchased and if the total costs exceed the tasting costs, the tasting
will not be billed.
o If, following the tasting, you have purchase some wine but that the total costs of the purchase
don’t exceed the tasting cost, you will have to pay the difference.
o If nothing has been purchased, the total tasting price must be paid.
- Free tasting for accompanying tourism professionals.
c) Confirmations, Changes or Cancellations
- Booking will be definitive after the following steps:
o We have collected all the necessary information about you.
o You have received a final e-mail confirmation from us.
o Your deposit is cashed.
- Any changes, even last-minutes ones (ex: number of people attending, changes in the chosen tasting
formula, extra appetizers, etc.) must be communicated.
- As a result, if need be, these changes can be subject to a price revaluation for the tasting.
- In case of a total cancellation one week before your visit, the €100.- deposit will not be refunded.
III. TERMS OF PAYMENT, WINE PURCHASING AND SHIPMENTS
Payment of the tastings and of potential wine purchases must be effectuated directly on site, by bank
card (Visa, Mastercard or Maestro), by cheque (for French resident only), or, in some cases, by remote
debit or by bank transfer.
- The wines you have tasted can be purchased at the Cellar shop within the limits of available stock.
Prices incl. VAT, from the Cellar.
- They can either be taken right away, sent to your home or under certain circumstances sent by
specialized carriers to a large panel of destinations (Europe, USA, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong,
Singapour, Australia, etc.).
- In some cases, tax refund can be applied.
- Prices and Wine Selling in The Cellar are intended to individuals only.

IV. ACCESS
1. By train
Closest train stations: Beaune (5 km) and Dijon (35 km).
2. By car
a) From the south, by the highway or the departmental road D974:
- If you come from the south, on the A6, take exit 1 Savigny-les-Beaune.
- If you come from the south, on the A31, take exit Beaune Nord, Porte Saint Nicolas.
- If you come from Beaune, take the departmental road 974 northerly direction (Dijon).
b) From the north, by the highway:
- If you are on the A31 from the north (Dijon), take exit Beaune Nord, Porte Saint Nicolas.
Take the roundabout, (at the highway exit) and continue on the departmental road D97, to Dijon.
After 2 km (3 min), take a left turn, to Aloxe-Corton and go to the village centre. The Domaine
will be indicated.
c) By car, from the north, by the departmental road D9:
- If you are coming from Dijon take the departmental road 974 southerly direction (Beaune).
After Ladoix-Serrigny, take a right turn, to Aloxe-Corton and go to the village centre.
The Domaine will be indicated.
- Since there is no car park on the Domaine’s property, you can park cars or buses Place du
Chapître (50m opposite the Domaine) or Place de l’Eglise (200m from the Domaine).
- GPS coordinates : 47°3’56” N; 4°51’33” E. / Adress: 1 rue des Chaumes, F-21420 Aloxe-Corton.
