The primary focus of the 10178 Berlin exhibition is the 2018 installation »big ang takeover«. The large variety of its parts gives a realistic impression of Joyce Pensato’s New York Studio. KIENZLE ART FOUNDATION Exhibition 5 pm–midnight Jochen Kienzle who formerly ran a gallery together with Annette Gmeiner has founded the Kienzle Art Foundation in 2009. Aside from the mainstream Bleibtreustrasse 54 chorus Jochen Kienzle investigates into conceptual art and painting, his 10623 Berlin collection includes works by Jonathan Lasker, Jack Whitten, Jack Goldstein, David Lamelas, Ketty La Rocca and Verena Pfisterer. SAMMLUNG ULRICH SEIBERT Exhibition 6 pm–midnight Open House Oranienburgerstrasse 32 The collection of Ulrich Seibert focuses on Pop-Surrealism, Pop-Comic- Heckmannhöfe Surrealism and Lowbrow. The very specific collection of Ulrich Seibert is Vorderhaus 1. OG clearly a niche. Being asked: “What are you collecting?” the answer by (do not enter the couryard) Ulrich Seibert is: “It‘s hard to explain. You‘ll know it when you see it.” Anyway, 10117 Berlin this is something rather rare in Berlin. No conceptual art, no gestural ab- straction, no rough brush. The stuff is colorful, figurative, bizarre, slightly post@collection-seibert.art surreal and many of the artists come from the West Coast. And yes: art should be fun. As part of the Collection Night, JSC Berlin presents a screening with a 10117 Berlin selection of films and videos from the current year-long program horizontal vertigo curated by Lisa Long. On this occasion a large scale screening of Deep Gold (2013/2014) by Julian Rosefeldt will be on view. COLLECTION IVO WESSEL Exhibition 5 pm–midnight Mostly with power connection Lehrter Str. 57 Ivo Wessel studied computer science and psychology and moved to Berlin in House 2, Floor 2 2000. He has been collecting contemporary art and literature since school 10557 Berlin days and always tries to reconcile his three obsessions: art, books and computers. His collection includes painting, photography, conceptual art, email@ivo-wessel.de media and video art.
