Portrait of the Queen
A documentary about the image of
the single most iconic Woman of our times.
This will be her story spanning through seven decades, seen through the
lenses of the world’s greatest photographers as they created an iconographic
image that remains unique, while everything around her, culture, society
and politics, changes at the speed of light. It is based on Paola Calvetti’s
book “Elisabetta II: Ritratto di regina” (Elizabeth II: Portrait of the Queen).
The documentary is directed by one of the world’s most sought-after
photographers, Fabrizio Ferri. Among the others, contributions of: David
Montgomery, Brian Aris, Chris Levine, John Swannell, Jason Bell, Julian Calder.
I preferred to shoot their ‘portraits’ in the studio, with a pictorial light, in a black “box”, portraying
them dressed in black. Their stories, their emotions in recalling them, their experiences with the
Queen which they shared with me - Fabrizio Ferri.
Charles Dance will embody the great legends of photography like Cecil Beaton, Bryan Adams, Lord
Snowdon, Jousuf Karsch, also through their own words, written in diaries like Cecil Beaton’s memoires.
It’s not just a narrative voice, but a real presence that forms the backbone of the film - Fabrizio Ferri.

The Wonders of the Museo Egizio
Kha, architect and builder of tombs for the pharaohs, has to undertake the journey to the
Underworld, amid a thousand dangers.
Eternal life is at stake, but the risk is ending up being dissolved into cosmic nothingness. Telling us
the story of his adventure is Jeremy Irons, in the guise of a narrator resembling an ancient storyteller.
His words take us inside the secret world of Egyptian mythology, religion and funerary culture,
interweaving the story with the history of the Museo Egizio in Turin, which was founded in 1824 and
is the oldest in the world. In fact, the Tomb of Kha is located in Turin and has the most complete,
most valuable private collection of grave goods outside Egypt, alongside thousands of other exhibits
of exceptional value. Along the Nile, among the magnificent monuments of Giza, Luxor, Karnak, in
the Valley of the Kings and the workers’ village of Deir el-Medina, the story told by Irons follows the
tracks of Italian explorers and archaeologists in the places where they collected the most important
pieces making up the Turin collection - their itineraries also lead to the exhibition halls in the Cairo
Museum, the Ägyptischen Museum in Berlin, the British Museum in London and the Louvre in Paris.
From Ramesses II in Turin, to the treasure of Tutankhamun, the bust of Nefertiti, the Red Scribe in the
Louvre, and the Rosetta Stone in London, this documentary is also a journey among the most beautiful
archaeological finds Egypt has left us.

There is no painter in the world both more famous and less
known than Edvard Munch.
The debt contemporary culture has towards Munch is impressive, from Andy
Warhol to Ingmar Bergman, from Marina Abramovich to Jasper Johns. If his
painting has become a symbol and at the same time an omen of the tragedies
of the twentieth century, his art has travelled new and experimental roads
of extraordinary modernity. Today, however, it is his city, Oslo, which sets
a turning point for the knowledge of Munch: the birth of a new museum,
opened in Fall 2021. The documentary will start from there to shed light on a
man and an artist with singular charm, a precursor and a master.

Being an Architect
A documentary film conceived of as a virtual dialogue and musical journey in
four acts, which investigates the responsibility of architects in building the
society of tomorrow. Through the eyes of Antonio Citterio, one of the best-known

architecture studio ACPV, the film leads us to a vision of design in the architecture
